I used to go into my fight camps with extreme anxiety. I hated the process.
Looking back, I wish I had taken the time to enjoy the journey and eliminate the things that took that joy away from me.
Hard sparring every session, leaving practice with headaches, and juggling university work made an already hard process even more challenging.
My fight was 6 mins, but it took 4 weeks behind the scenes to get to that point. And truthfully, the adrenaline made me forget most of those 6 minutes, but I will never forget that 4-week camp.
The moral of this story is to make your journey one that you enjoy. Not to make it easier, but make it worthwhile.

Don’t say “I’m gonna study”
Say: “I’m going to finish these 3 flashcards in 5 minutes"

Prayed for patience, and inconveniences came my way.
Prayed for discipline, and distractions came my way.
Prayed for strength, yet hardships came my way.
The things that test our character most are what we need.
Do not shy away from what builds you.

Creativity = Innovation = Greatness
All the greats were innovators: MJ, Einstein, Brady, GSP, and Edison
They are/were able to think outside of the box and tried something new that others said wouldn't work
If you’re feeling stuck, try something unorthodox

This is a good reminder for Christian Twitter. I've seen alot of hateful arguments based on pride and just wanting to be right.

Make a list and your future self will thank you.
I’ve been on a planning vibe for the last little while.
I find peace in knowing what I need to do today to get that one step closer to achieving my goals.
I like making the reminders or notes app a widget on my phone so I can be reminded throughout the day of what I need to get done.

“Do not pray for a lighter load to burden;
Rather, pray for broader shoulders”
Often, we find gratification in staying in our comfort zones.
Misguided by the belief that shouldering a heavier load is inherently detrimental.
Remember, a greater burden results in a greater character.
Embrace hard and difficult times.
They won’t be easy to bear.
However, the content of your character shall improve.
Then the once burdensome load will become easier to bear.
As a result of your suffering, you will be rewarded with newfound strength.
And be one step closer to reaching your full potential.

It’s easy to fall into the “main character trap”.
I realized this once I started to train mma. Everyone has bad days. Sometimes I’m the hammer other I’m the nail. And that goes for everyone too.
Resillance is what sets you and your competition apart.
