There was a reason the Cryptocurrency Act 2020 was three pages versus three hundred. My thoughts are that it is typical of Washington to add to Bills to attempt to slip in unrelated legislation typically referred to as “pork”. While I welcome crypto friendly legislation, I want to see a simple foundational Bill to start that is not over engineered or full of pork. Metallicus has prepared for this moment and is ready for the Infrastructure Bill in its current form, however, I would prefer something simpler with digital asset definitions, assigned primary regulators which could act as a base to build on later versus trying to get everything perfect out of the gate. This was covered on the space I did with Congressman Carter earlier this week.
