🚨 Here are Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna’s full comments on the Tesla Roadster and @elonmusk:
🚨 Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna on the Tesla Roadster:
"It certainly shows that also in the automotive world there’s still a lot to be done. We have to keep dreaming."
"As a European, thank you for showing us how that, even in an old world, you can still innovate and dare."
"I give it 10 for technology and 10 for communication: it was a sensational presentation."
Here are Elon’s full remarks:
Per @elonmusk, it will be big for Optimus to be more self-sufficient, saying it will be similar to when your toddler "learns to wipe their own ass" 🤣

🚨 Here's the full clip that Tesla has included atop its new Robotaxi Safety Report page:
At 0:00, it stays patiently behind cyclists and e-bikes in downtown Austin, avoiding them as they fall
At 0:18, at night, a Tesla cuts across the intersection and the Robotaxi holds back.
At 0:30, a semi with a flatbed trailer swings wide across the Robotaxi's lane at 7th St, and it waits about 30 seconds for the truck to clear.
From 1:02, it drives through dense fog.
At 2:12, at night with a rider aboard, it stays in its lane behind a car while a police vehicle with flashing lights works the intersection.
At 2:42, it stops for a line of ducks crossing the road.
At 3:50, a pickup backs out of a driveway into its path and it waits.
Overall thoughts on Tesla $TSLA Q3 Earnings: Analysts were pretty good with estimates for this Q, but call was very bullish in general. A lot of great takeaways including Cybercabs to customers by EoY, Optimus developments, AI5 comparison to AI4 and that timeline, Dallas to get Robotaxi next month, and many more.
Really exciting future ahead as long as Tesla executes, and there’s really no reason to believe they won’t. Timelines are the only thing skeptics can really bring up; yes, Tesla is late to things quite frequently but they ultimately do deliver.
Tesla FSD take rate is insane at delivery and up to 75%, up from 55%. People are buying Teslas for FSD because they are ready to automate their travel. It’s safer and it’s easier than human driving. It seems Elon is going to be well on his way to crossing off that tranche from his latest compensation package.
Optimus should be ready for pretty stable and useful operation in 14 months, which is awesome.
This was a great call. Between the SpaceX call and the Tesla call, fans and investors have a lot to be excited about.
🚨 Tesla AI Head @aelluswamy said the company is building its own mapping for FSD that will "learn your preferences and the fleet preferences."
This is perhaps what the company has come up with to solve Nav issues
🚨 In short, Cybercabs are slated to go to customers by end of the year. All units are going into Robotaxi fleet currently, per @larsmoravy
Cybercab will be "transport-as-a-service," but vast majority of Cybercab will be "Tesla-owned," @elonmusk says
🚨 The software for Cybercab and Model Y is the same, and the same software as part of v15 release will be available to customers soon, @aelluswamy says.
🚨 Tesla AI Head @aelluswamy says Dallas is confirmed for Robotaxi launch in November
🚨 Tesla saw a $BTC gain of $290M this quarter, via Vaibhav Taneja, Tesla's CFO
🚨 No new information on this, as expected
“In regards to a merger with Tesla and SpaceX, I’ve said everything I need to say yesterday, tap dancing through a minefield.” -@elonmusk
“Our aspiration is to be making some kind of useful chip at volume around Q3 of 2028. TERAFAB will be the most valuable building in the world; could be in top 20 most valuable countries.” -@elonmusk
“There are some thing we need to tweak about the design….there’s a lot of work to do in the AI in the Robot for it to be truly useful for open-ended tasks. I expect the AI and electromechanical design, and reliability to be solved around the end of next year.” -@elonmusk
“We have started early production of Optimus on our Fremont line. It’s an S-curve, but it’s erratic because it’s a new product. There are 10,000 things that have to go right. We do have the vast majority of a 1M unit line in Fremont right now.”
1 year to get to 20k/wk -@elonmusk
“If you want to try it out, come to Austin and you’ll see Cybercabs at scale.” -@elonmusk
