Every day is a good day to be a @spurs fan…and it’s an especially good day today. 🥰 All the love in this Olympic final men’s game. #TeamUSA #TeamWemby

About a year ago, we asked St. Louis transplants what info would have made their lives easier when they arrived and got 300+ responses. Today, @stlpublicradio launched the STL Welcome Kit, a guide to the history, culture and ins and outs of St. Louis. stlpr.org/stl-welcome-kit

“Direct” leadership style for sure. I learned a lot from my interactions with Ron Richard & appreciate he consistently made time to engage with Coro Fellows seeking to learn about state-level public affairs. May he rest peacefully. bit.ly/3NhXpjP #CoroSTL

Congratulations Missouri. You stopped four trans girls from playing in high school competitive sports and hundreds of kids too young to understand why they can’t play soccer with their friends. And you told thousands of people in your state they should be scared to be different.

I tend to use “there” as a replacement for sir or ma’am, like “hi there, how may I help you?” or “excuse me there, I’m just going to sneak past ya”. It’s not perfect, but using a location indicator instead of a gender one can work when trying to speak with someone specific!

The shooting in Louisville today was the 146th mass shootings in the United States in which four or more people were shot and killed or wounded, not including the shooter, leaving more than 200 people killed and more than 560 wounded.

What makes Caitlin’s 40-point triple-double so special is the fact so many player never had one, not me, Michael Jordan, or Larry Bird!

Among many recent reports shared this morning via ⁦@nurses4newborns⁩ highlighting the stark realities for maternal health in MO & where we should focus our efforts to affect maternal mortality. 🚨 Spoiler alert: we must invest in community systems. cnn.com/2023/03/16/health/ma…

“This is the crap they said about people like me for decades,” @gregrazer said. “They can’t say it about me anymore, so now they’re going after another group. But this time they’re kids. They’re using kids as political pawns and that burns me up.” #moleg missouriindependent.com/2023…

Profoundly grateful for the Carter family, who continue to lead & educate by example. Their experience is opening up many meaningful conversations about palliative care, including hospice care. This morning's @1a segment was especially thoughtful.

I think it might be time for the National Archives just to have an amnesty day for returning Top Secret documents just like libraries do for overdue books.
