Sony has reported a major data breach involving unauthorized access that exposed 2,585,481 member records. The affected data includes names, user IDs, email addresses, and bank account information.
Separately, users have independently reported unauthorized account activity, including the addition of unfamiliar family members to accounts, as well as concerns over the account recovery process and the risk of social engineering attacks on customer support.

Nvidia is accused of worsening the gaming GPU shortage by prioritising AI hardware for Big Tech.
The claim is that Nvidia is sending huge amounts of GPUs to companies building AI data centres, even when some of that hardware cannot be used yet because the data centres don’t have enough power.
Companies like Amazon receive billions in Nvidia AI hardware before data centres have enough power.
About $5 billion in GB300 systems were delivered to AWS facilities, with another $3 billion monthly expected, leaving some unused in warehouses.
