The DTCC is about to expand its Tokenization Service across multiple L1/L2 networks. Looking at its evaluation criteria, tx:native appears incredibly well positioned. Here’s why 👇 🔐 1. Native Compliance DTCC requires compliance-aware tokens, governance and operational controls. tx:native Smart Tokens offer these capabilities natively: • Whitelisting / permissioned transfers • Access Control Lists (ACLs) • Freezing and clawbacks • Minting / burning • Programmable compliance controls 🔎 2. The Stellar Precedent DTCC has already selected Stellar, which is particularly interesting. Like tx:native, Stellar offers strong native compliance controls while operating on a transparent public ledger. Neither provides Canton-style transaction confidentiality by default. This suggests DTCC is open to different privacy architectures, provided institutional security requirements are met. 🌐 3. Interoperability DTCC aims to connect tokenized assets across networks without fragmenting liquidity. tx:native offers: • Native IBC interoperability • Compliance-aware asset infrastructure • TX Marketplace’s RWA aggregation vision • Infrastructure connecting TradFi and DeFi 🏦 4. Market Demand DTCC has stated client demand will influence future network selection. tx:native is targeting two major opportunities: • @SoloTex_com → Regulated, 24/7 tokenized U.S. equities and ETFs • @txRWAs → Aggregating fragmented RWAs, issuers and liquidity across networks.
