"The Europeans" is growing 🇪🇺 Today we launch our new website - together with our Mission Statement. Our premise is simple: Europeans do not lack shared interests or the means to act - they lack the habit of addressing their challenges as common ones. This platform exists to analyse and frame key issues at European scale, connect activists across Europe, and press for decisions that reflect our collective interests rather than national reflexes. 🚨 Russia's psychological warfare machine, exposed. Don't take our word for it: read the facts. A Kremlin-funded agency invented a story about Zelensky buying a yacht. Within weeks, a US congresswoman had posted it and a future US Vice President had echoed it. The agency then filed the reposts in a folder for Putin's team, as proof it deserved another year of funding. Hacked files obtained by The Insider (@InsiderEng) show the whole machine 👇 🔸 WHO RUNS IT • Set up in 2022 by the Kremlin under Sergei Kiriyenko, Putin's deputy chief of staff. Known in the West as "Doppelgänger". • Run by Ilya Gambashidze's Social Design Agency. He is under EU and US sanctions, and Russia gave him a state medal in 2024. His pitch for more Kremlin money: "The battlefield is the minds of the people of planet Earth!" • Kremlin supervisors: Alexander Kharichev and Sofia Zakharova. • Hundreds of staff: Foreign Ministry people writing fakes in several languages, deepfake designers, strategists using AI to find each country's sorest points. • The Europe team sits in a nonprofit run by Vadim Glushchenko, who spent 2014–2020 at Russia's mission to the EU, in Brussels. 🔸 HOW IT WORKS • Fake copies of real newspapers' websites, pushed with paid ads. Meta traced the payments to the agency. • Deepfakes, re-dubbed voices, and staged videos shot in Russia with props to look like Germany, Italy or England. • AI-written comments from fake "ordinary citizens", like a 38-year-old Polish woman blaming Ukrainian migrants for food prices. • One fake story, with ready-made comments for every side: a French everyman, a French Muslim, a German leftist, a Turkish-German. • Kremlin adviser Margarita Klimanova targets the fakes at migrants and young people. In April 2026, Russia put her on its delegation to a UN crime-prevention congress. 🔸 WHAT THEY DID IN EUROPE 🇫🇷 Antisemitic Stars of David painted on Paris buildings by Russian agents, then amplified by bots. The bedbug panic. A fake video threatening Olympic visitors. All logged as achievements. 🇩🇪 Invented stories about Ukrainian refugees, plus fake "Ukrainian" comments saying Germans owe them because of Hitler. 🇮🇹 A plan to pay Italian bloggers for an anti-sanctions sketch, while they believed an Italian party was behind it. 🇬🇧 A planned fake video of an "ISIS member" in London threatening Ukrainians. 🔸 WHO CARRIED IT TO MILLIONS • The yacht fake: reposted by Marjorie Taylor Greene, then a US congresswoman, and echoed by then-Senator JD Vance, now US Vice President. • George Galloway, a former presenter on Russia's RT, posted a video about a fake rumour of Olena Zelenska's Cartier spree. • Max Blumenthal (860k followers) and Candace Owens (7.8M) spread a false claim that Zelenska spent €40,000 shopping in Paris. Left and right. The machine doesn't care about your politics. It needs your reach. We're not saying any of them were paid or knew the source. We're saying the Kremlin's contractors counted posts like theirs as wins. 🔹 THE WEAK POINT So far, this factory has failed more often than it has succeeded. Its fakes travel only when real people carry them. Even the fact-checks went into the folder: any attention is a win. 🔹 TIME TO FIGHT BACK They have an agency, Kremlin supervisors, Foreign Ministry staff and hundreds of people who call themselves Russia's ideological troops. We have to fight back. Want to make a difference? Follow @TheEuropeansHQ and stay tuned: we're preparing our response. 🇪🇺 Full investigation: theins.press/en/inv/298359

The real news here: the EU is now the leader of the free world. Rallying democracies to defeat a brutal dictator. Some lead. Some make deals. Everyone chooses how history will remember them. 🤷‍♂️
❗️POLITICO reports the EU will push Canada and the UK to increase funding for Ukraine as Kyiv faces a projected €70 billion budget shortfall in 2027. Brussels is also pressing Japan to raise its contribution, with one EU official saying Tokyo is lagging in 2026. A person familiar with Japan’s position disputed that view, saying Tokyo has already provided about $20 billion and could increase support if Ukraine asks. #Ukraine

Time to move away from US-made critical digital tools, and fast. Once a red line has been crossed, it will likely be crossed again. Next time it could be our payments, our communications, or the cloud where our data is stored.

Look at the post below. Yesterday, we reported that Europe’s four biggest mobile operators 🇩🇪🇫🇷🇪🇸🇬🇧are exploring a joint bid to take on Starlink: phones connected straight to satellites, no tower needed. The replies came on cue: “Europe can’t launch. Europe has no satellites. Europe has no money. SpaceX has no competition. Period.” We hear this every time Europe talks about tech independence. But are they right? 👇 ❌ “Europe can’t launch.” ✅ True, SpaceX launches far more: 165 Falcon 9 flights in 2025. That gap is real. But even Amazon booked 24 launches on Europe’s Ariane 6 for its own Starlink rival. Ariane 6 has already put 100 of its satellites in orbit. In September, @isaraerospace, a German 🇩🇪 startup, reached orbit. At the same time, Europe’s first reusable rocket prototype is on its pad in Sweden 🇸🇪. And the @esa has put €900M+ behind a new generation of rockets. That’s more than twice the ~$400M NASA gave SpaceX to develop Falcon 9 and its Dragon capsule. What will happen to American launchers once these are operational? ❌ “Europe doesn’t build satellites.” ✅ Galileo, Europe’s GPS, is the most precise satellite navigation system in the world. Over 4.5 billion devices use it. Probably yours too. Finland’s 🇫🇮 @iceye_global runs the world’s largest fleet of radar satellites, which see through clouds and at night. @Thales_Alenia_S, in Turin, Italy 🇮🇹, built over half of the International Space Station’s living space. It also built the current satellites of Iridium, the American satellite-phone network. @AirbusSpace, @ThalesAerospace and @LDO_Space are merging their space businesses into one 25,000-strong champion. And IRIS², the EU’s own 348-satellite network, is moving to full deployment of its governments and defence infrastructure. If Europe has “nothing”, why are NASA’s astronauts living in it and your phone navigating with it? ❌ “Europe doesn’t have the money.” ✅ EU households keep €12 trillion in cash and bank deposits. That’s more than Nvidia and Apple, the world’s two most valuable companies, combined. Enough to buy SpaceX five times over. On top of that, Europeans hold $8 trillion in US stocks and bonds. For now. Because something has changed. Every year, €300bn of European savings leaves the EU. Europe is done watching it go: it has started building a single market for savings and investment, so that European money grows European companies. Some, like Danish 🇩🇰 pension funds, have already started dumping US government bonds. What will happen the day Europe offers a real alternative to American financial markets? ❌ “Europe is years behind on innovation.” ✅ 3 of the last 4 Nobel laureates in physics were born in Europe 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇧🇪. All three did their prize-winning work at American universities. The world’s first microprocessor, the chip that became the brain of every computer, was designed at Intel by an Italian 🇮🇹: Federico Faggin. Google’s AI lab, DeepMind, was born in London 🇬🇧. OpenAI was co-founded by scientists born in Poland 🇵🇱 and Slovakia 🇸🇰. Now Washington is cutting research funding, and applications from US-based scientists to the European Research Council have more than doubled. The EU has proposed doubling its budget too. Europe’s red tape can be cut with a vote. Can America win back the trust it has destroyed by threatening, humiliating and insulting its allies? ❌ “Europe needs America more than America needs Europe.” ✅ Look closer. In April, NASA flew astronauts around the Moon for the first time in over 50 years. The module that powered their spacecraft, pushed it to the Moon and kept them alive was European, assembled in Bremen, Germany 🇩🇪. NASA’s Webb telescope launched on a European Ariane 5, so precisely that its fuel should last about 20 years instead of 10. And the world’s most advanced AI chips can only be made with machines from one company: ASML, in the Netherlands 🇳🇱. We’ve seen this film before. In 1970, American planemakers ruled the skies. Europeans pooled their strengths and built Airbus. Airbus has out-delivered Boeing every year since 2019. The US just turned 250. The University of Bologna, in Italy, was founded in 1088, 938 years ago. Europe has been written off many times. Those trying to convince Europeans we can’t stand on our own forget who gave the world the Renaissance, the scientific revolution, the welfare state and the World Wide Web, born at CERN in Geneva 🇨🇭. Betting against Europe isn’t analysis - it’s hubris. And that arrogance is pushing European public opinion towards one conclusion: we’re done with America. One day, those repeating “weak, dependent Europe” will wake up to a Europe running on its own rockets, satellites, capital and talent. That day is closer than they think. 🇪🇺

“Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much.” Donald J. Trump, 19/10/2026
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

The US just refused to deliver ALREADY PURCHASED Patriot interceptors to Ukraine. These are weapons that prevent, daily, the bombing of Ukrainian cities. Europe will have to use its last reserves, leaving the continent more vulnerable to Russian aggression. One word: treason.
🇺🇸🇺🇦❗️The US does not agree to send Patriot missiles that have already been purchased for Ukraine: it was a significant delivery, - sources of the Kyiv Independent.

Every European government and company should drop US digital tools. Immediately. European alternatives already exist: Proton for email and cloud storage, Threema for messaging, Mistral for AI, Mapy for maps, and many more. So we made the list: 26 excellent European apps and services you can start using today. Made in Europe, with your data kept in Europe. Most have a free option. 👉 the-europeans.eu/your-hand-g… Why it matters: 🔹European organisations send about €264 billion a year (!) to US cloud and software companies. That money pays for almost 2 million jobs in the United States. Not in Europe. 🔹Moving just 15% of that spending to European providers would create about 460,000 jobs here. Money that stays in Europe instead of making Silicon Valley billionaires even richer. 🔹Citizens are ready: 6 in 10 Europeans say replacing US tech with European alternatives is a good idea. Only 13% disagree (YouGov, March 2026). Don’t expect this to go quietly. Big Tech lobbying will be fierce. Bots will flood the replies with the usual lines: “Europe can’t build anything”, “Europe is finished”. The goal is always the same: make us feel too weak to try. US diplomats will warn of terrible consequences if Europe dares to prefer its own products. This from the same US that has had a “Buy American Act” since 1933. Influencers will say Europe is “killing innovation”, while the US has protected its own champions for decades. We have the power. Every subscription, every app, every purchase is a vote. Next time someone tells you Europe creates nothing, don’t argue. Send them this list. 🔁 Always buy European.🇪🇺

If you haven't noticed yet, Europe is at war. And nobody is coming to save us. 🔹️18 September: Macron summons every French party leader to the underground crisis room beneath the Élysée, alongside the heads of all intelligence services. Highly unusual. Raphael Glucksmann (@rglucks1) walks out saying they were told France is in "a situation of hybrid war." The words "state terrorism" were used. Even Jordan Bardella (@J_Bardella), whose party is often accused of being soft on Moscow, warned the next day that Russia cannot dictate France's policy "through intimidation, threats, destabilisation or psychological pressure." 🔹️17 October: on the same day, riots break out in 🇫🇷 France, 🇮🇹 Italy and 🇧🇪 Belgium. Town halls on fire, shops looted, street battles with police. The anger behind the protests is real: prices, schools, public services. But the moment the violence starts, the propaganda machine switches on: pro-Kremlin networks and MAGA influencers flood our feeds with images and stories designed to spread fear and turn us against each other. Weeks earlier, @lemondefr had found a dozen accounts pushing the 17 October date. All created or renamed on the same day. Now zoom out - in recent months, almost every day, Europe has been hit by: → explosive drones at airports → fires and blasts at arms factories → cyberattacks on governments → disinformation on an industrial scale France isn't the only one sounding the alarm: 🇩🇪🇵🇱🇩🇰🇬🇧🇪🇪🇱🇹🇱🇻🇸🇪🇨🇿🇫🇮🇳🇴, in recent months, one after another, their governments and intelligence services have warned about Russia escalating its attacks on Europe. Drones and sabotage are only half of this war. The other half targets our minds, and our ballot boxes. 🇫🇷 France and 🇮🇹 Italy vote in 2027. What happens there will shape the future of all of Europe. Those who want Europe weak, divided and unable to act alone have everything to gain from the fear and division being planted in our societies. If France and Italy sink into chaos and break from European unity, every European will be less safe, and more alone against predatory powers. Expect more shocks in the years ahead. Some organised, some facilitated, many simply amplified. All exploited by those who want Europe on its knees. But none of this works if we stand together. Their whole strategy depends on us being afraid and divided. So let's be neither. Protect our democracies. Stand with Ukraine. Build a Europe that can defend itself. Fight back at their attacks. This is a dark hour for Europe. It can also be the hour we gain our independence.
