University of Hong Kong researchers analyzed 40 airplane outbreaks of COVID-19 and flu.
Infection risk was highest near infected passengers.
Models found N95 masks nearly eliminated transmission, while doubling ventilation alone was insufficient.

my landlord wants double the rent meanwhile in my research i've learned that he's paid off his building AND he has Mills Act approval so he doesn't even pay full property taxes... bruh i can't do this anymore
certainly he has, but because they are listed comparably to what he is asking for, he's mad that he isn't also asking for those prices.. lol

Journaling, urge surfing (usually cravings only last about 15 minutes, so just ride the wave until it dissipates), listening to music that you love that makes you sing or dance along will give you some endorphins to get over the hump.

Actually, no.
Zionism is about 130 years old.
No Jewish text or teaching before that time was about taking over the Land of Israel by force and taking it from other people.
That is not a Jewish value. Our religion never proposed or suggested that.
Zionism, a modern, political ideology, arose as a rebellion against religion.

A double digit percentage of homeless people in San Francisco are former SFHA tenants, and they’re on the street in squalor because YIMBY-supported mayors sold public housing to private developers
Replying to @lst156
NIMBYs want to let people live in squalor without doing a single thing to reduce rents
I am in Oakland rn and I keep thinking to myself “god they really need more density” as I walk around. It’s genuinely absurd
I wanted to get dinner last night at 10pm and everything was closed! On Saturday! They need apartment buildings!
I hate this stupid fucking thing so fucking much. it absolutely nukes my self-confidence and ability to enjoy (or even just put) myself in social situations. it is hugely detrimental to the one indoor social hobby I have and love (singing in a choir). but the risk reward of “maybe get your immune system permanently damaged or some shit we don’t even know yet” vs “look stupid” is too hard for me to willfully ignore. so fucking obnoxious.
is this real or parody? at any rate, you are, despite yourself, proving the point - the fact that you feel the need to allow people to remove masks, despite otherwise engaging in such extreme behavior, speaks volumes
left nimbys be like "supply side solutions are right wing propaganda, we need to instead build public housing"
Also in the study, rents in Austin only dropped a couple hundred dollars. Rents in Manhattan, a much more apt comparison, did not decrease in price when supply increased.
I’m the president of a choir that requires masks for rehearsal, and then folks who want to are allowed to rapid test the day of performance and we have our audience wear masks. We are a mix of immunocompromised/disabled folks and abled folks who care to meet our access needs
