If things ever return to normal, I think we need to revisit and rewrite the history of President Amin. These guys had an entire programme about Uganda, yet the way they spoke about the country, I almost felt like I was listening to a history of a country I had never known. 🙌🏼

Does the ground still tolerate this level of radicalism? Can we genuinely exercise freedom of speech in a state that does not respect it? And can this approach help break the cycle of power and create space for people to freely express themselves without fear?

I don’t know if this was ever resolved, but @ainbyoo , is there a fixed amount one must pay for damaging roadside barricades? The man killed no one, yet his car has been at the police station for 9 months. Why not release it and let him work as he pays for the damages?

Amin stole the floating dock for the benefit of Ugandans, while some thieves went to the Congo and stole gold and timber for their own personal gain. Amin was a true nationalist.

The West wants you to remember Idi Amin as a buffoon in Hollywood movies.
They never tell you he forced the British Foreign Secretary to fly to Uganda and beg him for a man's life. They never mention he made the British Empire cut ties and run.
Watch this. They only call African leaders "mad" when they refuse to bow. 🇺🇬✊🏾
