Patrick Stewart always gave off an authority as the adult in the room as Picard but on the other hand with Xavier he gave him a gentleness that wasn’t there in the comics.

Patrick Stewart was a titan, one of the finest actors of his generation. Stewart as Charles Xavier was simultaneously perfect and obvious casting and he knocked it out of the park every time. Should have an Oscar for Logan tbh. I loved him so much. Rest well Prof.

RIP Sir Patrick. What an amazing life he led. As a brilliant and tireless actor from stage to screen to TV and back again, as a great collaborator, gentle soul and friend to everyone.. I miss him already.

Incredible Oscar snub with this performance. Stewart was never more menacing. Lifted what could've been a standard villain role into something otherworldly.
