I said goodbye to my Rudy today. He was one of the best damn cats ever lived. The boi with a purr that could shake a glass on the table. He who showed me endless love and adoration. My WFH assistant for many years. 50% of the living-medicine that keeps me from going crazy.

I'm saying goodbye to my boy. My Rudy. I love you and I'll always love you. May we meet again some day beyond this realm. I wish I could have done so much more. You deserved better.
We were just quoted a minimum of $2,500 just for an overnight stay at the vet hospital for Rudy. This dosnt even begin to include the services at this specific vet that have been administered all ready.
Waiting on other options and such that are more affordable.

We're waiting on next steps, but the doctor just informed us Rudy's liver enzyme levels are very high, dangerously so. Waiting on a cost estimate to have him kept overnight at a 24/7 animal hospital with iv hooked up.

An update on Rudy: we're waiting on blood work results. He's been and being such a brave boy. So much more than his pet-parent, lol.
Thank you everyone for sharing, offering support, dono's, and just keeping us in your T's&P's. I love you all so damn much.
This was our receipt from yesterdays visit. Blood work was not done, as that was another couple hundred that we didn't have.
The x-rays that were taken didn't show anything; no mass, no blockages, no gas, no fluid build up. It may be teeth/mouth related, but thats just my opinion and my vet didn't bring it up yesterday.
