I’m as open to hearing the “The NFL is rigged” conspiracy theories as I’m ever gonna be.
And I’m a Chiefs fan.
Everyone (including me, to be fair) has been dunking on the Chiefs for struggling with Carolina last week and now here we are with the Lions.
At least the Chiefs were on the road.
KC Chiefs vs Liberty High School Bluejays?
That’s a 3pt Chiefs win.
KC Chiefs vs University of Oregon Ducks?
That’s a 3pt Chiefs win.
KC Chiefs vs Carolina Panthers?
That’s a 3pt Chiefs win.
KC Chiefs vs Detroit Lions in the SB?
That’s probably a 3pt Chiefs win.
IT AIN’T TOO LET TO GET ON THIS BANDWAGON.

The 1Q Kansas City @Chiefs really are one of the most frustrating parts of my existence.
I’m aware that that means that I have a pretty wonderful life.
But 1Q Chiefs, WHY ARE YOU THE WAY THAT YOU ARE!?
Mizzou pain.
You know it’s coming.
You don’t know when.
You don’t know from where.
But it’s coming.
We know it well.
It finds us in innumerable creative ways.
It never feels any less awful.
Yay sports.
Go Tigers.
Or something.
#Mizzou 🐯
This Mizzou-South Carolina football game *might* be the worst officiated sporting event of any kind, at any level, that I’ve ever witnessed.
An absolute comedy of incompetence.

“We said all season that we want to run our best when it matters most. We’ve had to be patient, but here we are. We’re ready. Let’s execute our race and let the points land where they land.”
Three points from the podium.
That’s where they landed.
Three. Daggum. Points.
A single morning settles the competitive stuff, but it takes decades to truly tell the full story of a season’s legacy and impact. So, a little disappointment now, memories forever, life change in the years ahead (hopefully).
