.@LeeMZeldin. I assert that nitrogen, oxygen, argon, neon, krypton, helium, hydrogen, and xenon should classified as greenhouse gases. As it stands right now, they are NOT, and that is the most significant and easily-correctable error in climate models. Climate scientists incorrectly believe that those eight gases cannot absorb or emit infrared (IR) heat at the rightโ€ wavelengths (i.e., IR wavelengths that Earth emits). They essentially believe that the temperature of those eight gases cannot increase or decrease under any circumstances. They seem to believe that those gases do not have any temperature at all to begin with, and have no thermophysical properties. Thatโ€™s nuts. This is demonstrably incorrect. The industrial gas industry makes money by liquefying gases (notably nitrogen, oxygen, and argon) for use as refrigerants (because they absorb a lot of heat). Gases are liquefied by drawing (i.e., emitting) hundreds of degrees of heat from normal air until they transition to gas phase through a process called cryogenic fractional distillation of air. Liquid oxygen is called lox, and is used as the oxidizer for rocket fuel, when combined with liquid hydrogen. Liquid O2 & H2 are mixed in the rocket engine, and boiled back to gas phase (because liquid hydrogen will not combust). When a spark is added, KABOOM โ€“ itโ€™s off to the Moon, Alice! It is easy to prove that, when gases like nitrogen, oxygen, argon, neon, krypton, helium, hydrogen, and xenon boil back to gas phase, they do, in fact, continue absorbing infrared heat at Earthly wavelengths until they reach ambient room temperature. Clear and convincing evidence that all atmospheric gases are greenhouse gases! I recommend you interview some industrial gas industry experts. Read them the definition of a greenhouse gas, and ask them if each of the constituents of air qualifies. I am confident they will say YES! Have a great weekend.

.@LeeMZeldin. Ask Google, โ€œDo nitrogen and oxygen absorb heat?โ€ The pages returned, written by climate scientists, all say, โ€œNo, nitrogen and oxygen do not absorb heat.โ€ This is demonstrably incorrect. The gibberish-laden justification? โ€œโ€ฆmolecules containing two atoms of the same element such as N2 and O2 have no net change in the distribution of their electrical charges when they vibrate, and monatomic gases such as Ar do not have vibrational modes. Hence they are almost totally unaffected by infrared radiation.โ€ Source: Wikipedia, โ€œGreenhouse Gasโ€ (Accessed 9/12/2022) This is modern gobbledygook drawn from a flawed experiment conducted by Irish research John Tyndall way back in 1859. Tyndall built a contraption that relied on a galvanometer to determine whether various gases absorbed infrared heat or not. A galvanometer is an electromechanical instrument for measuring electric current, not heat capacity! It ain't 1859 any more. We have modern instruments that run on electricity that prove that all gases absorb and emit heat. So, climate scientists are 165 years behind the times! All atmospheric gases are greenhouse gases!

.@LeeMZeldin. Why is it that ozone is a greenhouse gas, but oxygen is not? They are, after all, the SAME oxygen atoms; the only difference is three versus two. And they both have the same thermophysical properties. The values differ, but the properties do not. Ask Google, โ€œDo nitrogen and oxygen absorb heat?โ€ The pages returned, written by climate scientists, all say, โ€œNo, nitrogen and oxygen do not absorb heat.โ€ This is demonstrably incorrect. Atmospheric oxygen (O2) is two oxygen atoms bound together like a dumbbell. Climate scientists act like oxygen doesnโ€™t exist. They claim oxygen does not absorb incoming solar energy or outgoing infrared (IR) radiation, so oxygen is not classified as a greenhouse gas and is assigned zero degrees in climate models. They think oxygen does nothing to defend us from incoming ultraviolet (UV) rays. Meanwhile, ozone (O3) is three oxygen atoms bound together in a triangle, and is treated like a greenhouse Gaszilla. Do you remember the ozone hysteria? There are only about 0.3 ozone molecules per million, but oxygen is a tick under 21% of atmospheric volume (23.34% by mass). The ozone scare was a hoax that resulted in some of the best aerosols and refrigerants (such as Freon-12) being banned from the U.S. market. These bans should be reversed. Oxygen and ozone have different values of the same thermophysical properties, including molar heat capacity at constant pressure (Cp) and constant volume (Cv), calculated using the Shomate Equation. Cp = heat capacity (J/mol*K). According to webbook.nist.gov/, at 300 degrees Kelvin, the Cp of oxygen is 29.39, and ozone is 39.33. Why is the sky blue? Oxygen refraction. Oxygen atoms refract incoming sunlight like a prism, and the light that comes out is a beautiful azure blue, sky blue. Mathematically, oxygen defends us from ultraviolet (UV) rays about 285,000 times more than ozone does. Liquid oxygen is the same color as the sky. Oxygen gives oceans, lakes and icebergs their blue hue. Liquid ozone is a darker, richer blue, and smells like garlic. The attached figure shows that oxygen and ozone absorb both incoming solar radiation and outgoing infrared. Yet, ozone is classified as a greenhouse gas, and oxygen is notโ€“ hence climate models are incomplete, and wrong. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedโ€ฆ

.@LeeMZeldin. Did you know that climate scientists do not classify the following eight primary gases as greenhouse gases under the mistaken belief that they do not absorbs or emit infrared heat: Nitrogen, oxygen, argon, neon, krypton, helium, hydrogen, and xenon? They therefore attempt to artificially cram the entirety of the greenhouse effect into a paltry and untenable 0.33% of atmospheric mass:Carbon dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Nitrous oxide (N2O), ozone (O3), and Fluorinated gases. That is why climate models are a complete disaster.Everything with mass absorbs and emit infrared hear, and is always, always doing so. My research concludes that every atmospheric gas is a greenhouse gas, not just a few trace gases. The attached chart details molar heat capacity at constant pressure (Cp) for the 13 most abundant atmospheric gases. Molar heat capacity is a type of specific heat capacity useful for gases, and is defined as the amount of heat energy required to increase 1 mole of a substance by 1 degree Kelvin. It is calculated using the well-validated Shomate Equation: Cp = (J/mol*K). Molar heat capacity is heat-trapping and emitting, the stuff that GHGs are made of. Cp values are at 300 Kelvin (80.33 F) according to the NIST Chemistry WebBook (webbook.nist.gov/). When all gases are included in a climate model, it is clear that carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide collectivelyaccount for about 0.06ยฐ F of the total 59ยฐ F greenhouse effect and are not capable of causing material global warming.

.@LeeMZeldin. I recommend you examine to EPAโ€™s โ€œOverview of Greenhouse Gasesโ€œat epa.gov/ghgemissions/overvieโ€ฆ. EPAโ€™s list of greenhouse gases (GHGs) is tragically incomplete, because it only includes Carbon dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Nitrous oxide (N2O), and Fluorinated gases. And maybe ozone. Where are the rest of the atmospheric gases: Nitrogen, oxygen, argon, neon, krypton, helium, hydrogen, and xenon? Climate scientists around the world inexplicably do not classify these eight gases as GHGs, and that is why climate models are a complete disaster.Everything with mass absorbs and emit infrared hear, and is always, always doing so. Congratulations on your appointment as EPA Administrator @LeeMZeldin. Since President Trump is right when he says climate change is a hoax, the climate models MUST be wrong. My name is Tim Melkus, CEO of DreamSystems, and I cracked the case. I recommend you conduct a full investigation into the list of greenhouse gases (GHGs). Climate scientists do not understand the basics of gas phase thermochemistry. Challenge every assumption and you will find that the GHG list is appallingly incomplete. I assert that all atmospheric gases are GHGs, not just a few trace gases and a few aerosols. Climate scientists incorrectly classify only these five gases as GHGs(plus immaterial aerosols): Water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone (~0.33% of mass, mostly water vapor @0.25%). The following eight primary gases are NOT classified as GHGs under the mistaken belief that they do not absorb or emit any heat at all: Nitrogen, oxygen, argon, neon, krypton, helium, hydrogen, and xenon (~99.67% of mass). So, models assign zero degrees to almost all the atmosphere. Not one degree. Thermally dead. In addition, human-induced climate change (non-water vapor) is incorrectly stuffed into only four gases, collectively only 0.08% of atmospheric mass. This is demonstrably incorrect. Thus, climate scientists attempt in vain to artificially stuff the entirety of the estimated 59-degree Fahrenheit greenhouse effect into almost none of the atmosphere, while ignoring the specific heat capacity of almost all of it. They literally guess. In fact, according to many sources, including engineeringtoolbox.com and America's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) , ALL gases have the same thermophysical properties: Specific heat capacity, thermal conductivity and diffusivity, density, viscosity, critical temperature and pressure, triple point, enthalpi and entropi, and more. It is not acceptable to assign zero degrees to any gas. Everything with mass absorbs and emits infrared (IR) heat. Every gas meets GHG criteria. The eight missing gases must be added to climate models for them to have any validity. Do you remember the ozone hoax? As Vice President-elect JD Vance put it, this is weird science. Why is ozone a GHG, while oxygen is not? They are, after all, the same oxygen atoms (three versus two). Validated radiation absorption spectra tests demonstrate that oxygen and ozone absorb the same wavelengths of incoming solar radiation and outgoing infrared (IR) radiation. Yet, oxygen is completely excluded from climate models, while ozone is worshiped like Gaszilla. My math indicates that oxygen defends us from UV rays about 285,000 times more than ozone does. I recommend you contact industrial gas companies (they make money liquefying gases like nitrogen, oxygen, and argon for use as refrigerants by drawing the heat out of normal air through a process called cryogenic fractional distillation of air, which proves they do emit heat). Read them the definition of a GHG, and ask them if each atmospheric gas meets the criteria. I think they will agree with me. When liquid nitrogen, for example, boils to gas phase, it does continue absorbing heat until it reaches ambient room temperature. Climate scientists guess, while I use grade school math. In my simple percentage mass โ€œbox modelโ€ (arithmetically apportions the 59โฐ Fahrenheit passing through the vapors, treating them like a mixture of gases in a leaky chamber), 400 parts per million (ppm) of carbon dioxide contributes about 0.06โฐ Fahrenheit to the GHE. Methane? A microscopic 0.0000748โฐ. If all the CO2 disappeared, the GHE would barely dip, from 59ยฐ to 58.94โฐ. Volume apportionment works too, returning only slightly different partial temperatures. Meanwhile, climate scientists guess nitrogen contributes zeroโฐ; but my math calculates 44.48โฐ. Climate scientists guess zeroโฐ for oxygen, while I compute 13.89โฐ. Nitrox (nitrogen and oxygen gases) provides almost all the GHE, 98.9%, or 58.375โฐ by mass (98.76% by volume). Yet, the IPCC, etc. completely exclude Nitrox from models. Even argon traps over six times more heat than carbon dioxide, but the climate scientists guess zilch. It is impossible for any climate model to be valid when almost all the atmosphere is unaccounted for. I recommend U .S. withdrawal from the Montreal Protocol too. CFCs like Freon-12 should be allowed back on the market so manufacturers can choose the best refrigerant or aerosol for the job. Air conditioners using R-12 in cars and homes were so much better, werenโ€™t they? Hope this helps end climate change hoaxes. Forever.

Dear @IPCC. My name is Tim Melkus. I am the CEO of DreamSystems. Be advised, once again, that your climate models INCORRECTLY exclude about 99.67% of atmospheric mass from your calculations, so they artificially stuff the entirety of the greenhouse effect into almost none of the atmosphere. Remember the ozone hoax of the 1970's? Please explain why ozone (O3) is classified as a greenhouse gas, while oxygen (O2) is NOT. They are the same oxygen atoms, and absorb the same wavelengths of incoming sunlight (UV rays), and the same wavelengths of outgoing infrared (IR) heat. Climate scientists clearly do not understand the basics of gas phase thermochemistry. Your list of which atmospheric gases are greenhouse gases is incorrect. All gases have the same thermodynamic properties, and thus ALL gases are greenhouse gases, not just a few of the trace gases. Please correct and re-validate your models immediately. Once you include all the gases in your models it will become crystal-clear that carbon dioxide (plant food) is NOT capable of causing significant global warming, as it only accounts for about 0.06F of a total 59F greenhouse effect. Rising levels of CO2 are NOT an existential threat to humanity, and human beings are NOT responsible for "climate change." If you do not correct your models and cease and desists from misleading all three branches of the U.S. government and the public, I intend to sue your organization in U.S. Federal Court.

Thank you for challenging the climate scientists @RepScottPerry . Climate models are appallingly incomplete. Here's why: Of the 13 most abundant atmospheric gases, only FIVE trace gases are classified as Greenhouse gases (water vapor, CO2, methane, nitrous oxide, and methane). So, climate models completely exclude the heat capacity of about 99.67% of air. Climate models make no sense! ALL gases have the same thermophysical properties: specific heat capacity, density, viscosity, critical temperature and pressure, triple point, enthalpi and entropi, thermal conductivity and diffusivity and more. Yet, climate models EXCLUDE nitrogen, oxygen, argon neon, krypton, helium, hydrogen, and xenon under the mistaken belief (from 1859) that these gases can not absorb or emit infrared heat. This is DEMONSTRABLY INCORRECT. The industrial gas industry makes money liquefying gases for use as refrigerants, most notably nitrogen, oxygen and argon. They do this by drawing the heat out of normal air. When they boil back to gas phase, they do, in fact, continue absorbing heat until they achieve ambient room temperature, this meets the definition of a greenhouse gas! In an ideal state, all atmospheric gases are at temperature and pressure equilibrium. So, the easiest method of apportioning the greenhouse effect in a "box model" is by percentage mass. Carbon dioxide only contributes about 0.05F to the total greenhouse effect, and is not capable of causing measurable global warming. Don't believe me? Do some research. There are a zillion websites with gas phase thermochemistry. For example, check out the NIST Chemistry WebBook webbook.nist.gov/

Hi @DrJamesEHansen. I refute anthropogenic climate change because my climate model uses the heat capacity of 100% of the atmosphere, not just the paltry 0.33% used by the Big Climate Industrial Complex. Climatologists are too insanely focused on carbon dioxide to see the forest for the trees. Why? Because of an 1859 experiment run by John Tyndall! They likely have no clue what a bomb calirometer (a modern instrument) is, but I am quite confident that you do. CO2 contributes a meaningless ~0.06 degrees F to the total greenhouse effect. Ozone is simply the addition of one oxygen atom to an existing O2 molecule, so it is about 50% more powerful. Why is it that O2 is excluded from climate models, but O3 is treated like gaszilla? We liquefy oxygen (lox) by drawing heat out of it in a process called cryogenic fractional distillation of air. Lox is used as rocket fuel. That means O2 has heat in it, and does, in fact emit heat. All the constituents of air have thermal conductivity and molar heat capacity at constant pressure (denoted Cp), and are, therefore, greenhouse gases (gas phase heat capacity is calculated using the well-validated Shomate Equation). It's called gas phase thermochemistry, something the climate scientists quite clearly do not understand. NIST has a lot of data on the thermodynamic properties of thousands of gases, including nitrogen, oxygen, argon and the rest of the noble gases. For nitrogen data, follow this link: webbook.nist.gov/cgi/cbook.cโ€ฆ An immutable law of the cosmos is that EVERYTHING with mass absorbs and emits infrared heat, and is always doing so. The universal wavelength at which all known forms of matter absorb, or trap, heat is 10^14 hertz. Nitrogen is by far the most dominant GhG, followed by oxygen, then argon. Water vapor is #4 (not #1), and carbon dioxide is an insignificant #5. Check out the attached chart. I value your thoughts. Peace.
