Saleh Mahmud has been described as a 'dangerous and predatory offender' (another one), jailed for more than a decade after being found guilty of a horrific woodland rape of a man following a night out in Manchester. Mahmud led one of the men to a wooded area in Failsworth where he raped him. After the attack, Mahmud threatened to kill the survivor, stealing his mobile phone and bank cards before leaving. DNA linked him to another incident that happened days earlier. Another man had reported meeting Mahmud on a night out before returning together to his home. Mahmud stole his mobile phone and wallet and assaulted him.

Campaigners in Bradford (including people from immigrant communities) are now pushing to ban public firework sales ahead of Bonfire Night, comparing a 400-year-old British tradition to bullfighting.
The "harm" they're citing is largely year-round firework use for weddings and celebrations a cultural import that has turned parts of the city into a nightly disturbance. Guy Fawkes Night gets targeted. The imported practice gets a pass or is treated as inevitable.
This is how ways of life get rewritten. One tradition is "harmful" and must end. The other is just how things are now.

KILLER VICKRUM DIGWA WILL NOW SERVE AT LEAST 25 YEARS FOR MURDERING HENRY NOWAK!!
The Court of Appeal has ruled that Digwa’s original sentence for murdering 18-year-old student Henry Nowak was unduly lenient.
Judges have increased his minimum term from 21 years to 25 years.
This is incredible news and definitely an early Christmas present for everyone who has supported Henry’s family and demanded justice.
Personally, I would never set this monster free again, but this is something even if it should have been life.
My thoughts remain with Henry’s loved ones. 🙏❤️
