Our system focuses on carrying pallets and ULD containers. We aim to improve and decarbonate time-sensitive freight instead of standard freight with shipping containers, which can still take conventional trains.

Alberta's new Passenger Rail Master Plan signals a deep commitment to improving the quality of life and boosting the economy in Alberta. TransPod’s own feasibility study for building an ultra-high-speed transportation system connecting Edmonton and Calgary — a trip that will take only 45 minutes — will create 140,000 jobs and add $19.2B to the region’s GDP throughout construction. In fact, we’ve already confirmed $550M USD to build it, and it won't cost taxpayers a dime.
We're excited to contribute to the development of transit systems in Alberta, starting with initiating construction of our test-track. Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this journey together!
