Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Browne told Kemi Badenoch to her face that she is misguided and not fit to be Britain's Prime Minister during a sharp exchange over slavery reparations.
At the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Antigua, British opposition leader Badenoch called reparations a "lever" to extract "global welfare" from the UK and said Britain should stop apologizing for the transatlantic slave trade.
Browne responded: "Well, I think she's misguided. And no wonder she is the leader of the opposition and not the Prime Minister."
He said reparations could come from the UK's overseas development budget and that without accountability, history is more likely to repeat itself.
UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham signalled openness to a formal apology but rejected financial compensation.
Britain is open to an apology but not to action.

Structural hypocrisy at its finest.
If the UK can maintain financial structures to enrich white supremacy up until 2015, it can certainly maintain financial structures to repair the descendants of enslaved Africans in the Caribbean.

Kemi "Olodo" Badenoch is a racial gatekeeping political prostitute celebrating Britain’s proceeds of historical injustice against Black people while dismissing the legitimate claims of those whose ancestors paid the price and still bear the brunt today.
Britain didn't abolish slavery. It went from kidnapping & human trafficking millions of Africans to enslaving entire nations of Africans then falsely claims it abolished slavery when Colonisation was Slavery 2.0.
Britain’s current discourse on ‘not apologising and not paying reparations’ for one of the gravest crimes against humanity is an indictment of its moral conscience, its historical honesty and its willingness to acknowledge the enduring consequences of wealth accumulated through the enslavement, exploitation and dehumanisation of millions of African people. It exposes the contradiction of a nation willing to celebrate the wealth, power and institutions built during its imperial expansion, yet reluctant to confront the human cost upon which so much of that prosperity was founded.

The term Death Camps, makes no sense. If each Slave was nothing more than his value, what fool would seek to kill his own item of value ?

London was Britain's second slave-trading port, after Liverpool. 3,136 slaving voyages sailed from London to African shores from where British slave ships transported 834,617 African captives to the Americas. Source: Slave Voyages slavevoyages.org/

Britain ran Forced Labour Death Camps in the Caribbean for over 245 years. And got very rich doing so. But Britain can lead the world in repairing the damage and healing the wounds inflicted upon the African.

🇬🇧 Kemi Badenoch says we shouldn't talk about slavery because "it's in the past."
So I guess that means no October 7th. No Holocaust. No Remembrance Day. No 9/11.
"It's in the past" right????

The idea that "Africans sold Africans" into slavery (or "Blacks sold Blacks") is a decontextaulised victim-blaming white supremacist lie.
From @GMB today.

🇮🇱 An Israeli actress said on TV she’s no longer proud to be Israeli, then found out she was live the whole time
She blamed everything happening now on the occupation, then panicked when she learned it was on air and later apologized for going too far.
She thought they were on a break, but it all went out live on national TV.
Rule number 1 in TV: the commercial break only starts when they tell you.
