Brian, you’re really going to sit there and take shots at Abdul’s character? Have you lost your mind? Your own wife, Pete’s mother, wrote him a letter in 2018 accusing him of cheating, lying, belittling women, sleeping around and using women for his own ego. HIS OWN MOTHER. Not Democrats. Not the media. His mother.
And I’m supposed to believe you’re in any position to lecture anyone about the kind of man they’re raising?
I have a son, and I can tell you I would be absolutely mortified if he turned out like Pete Hegseth. A man who cheated on his wives, has had former colleagues raise serious concerns about his drinking, and somehow ended up running the Pentagon despite serious questions about his qualifications.
This is who you’re defending, Brian. So maybe get off your high horse about Abdul and take a good look at your own son. Because I can promise you, if my son had a record like Pete’s, the last thing I’d be doing is getting online and criticizing somebody else’s child.

(VIDEO) Man at Trump Rally Wearing “Death” Shirt Calls for “Massacre” on Fox News thegatewaypundit.com/2026/10…

Fox: Why are you here this morning?
Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

The guy who compared a Trump rally to Jonestown on live Fox News was invited by the Trump campaign. They called his work phone on Monday and asked him to come.
His name is Tom Hoyle. He's 57 and runs a small custom printing shop in Charlotte called MadPark Designs with his business partner. He's hated Trump since 1989, back when he was a sophomore in college. And he really, really doesn't like getting sales calls on the shop line, from anybody.
So when the rally people called, he said yes. He even signed up with his real name and contact info, because he wanted it on the record that they invited him.
Then he had to get through the door. A private security guy asked him straight up if he was a Trump supporter. Tom told him he supports the Constitution, then started talking about his shirt, which was for an old death metal band called Death. He kept going about the history of Florida death metal until the guard gave up and let him in.
His plan going in was honestly pretty juvenile. He and a buddy he grew up with figured he'd wait a few minutes into the speech and yell something filthy.
Then a Fox News reporter, Lucas Tomlinson, found him standing off by himself and asked if he could interview him live. Tom thinks a white guy with a big beard and a ball cap was pretty much exactly what they were looking for.
He told himself he wasn't going to cuss on national TV, so he made it up on the spot. He says the first line and then just waits. The reporter goes "Wait, the Jonestown Massacre?" and that's when he finishes it.
He told The Handbasket he picked that up from Billy Crystal, who said on Letterman back in the '80s that you always let the other guy set up your punchline. Tomlinson set it up for him perfectly.
A few minutes later some men who said they were Secret Service pulled him aside. He asked if this was about the concession stand, because it closed early and he was starving. They didn't love that and walked him out. On his way out he passed the guard from the front door and told him, hey man, you didn't vet me too well.
Think about how many people had a shot at stopping this. The campaign's call list found him. The signup form had his name. A guard questioned him to his face. A Fox crew put him on live TV. Every one of them took one look at the beard and the hat and filled in the rest.
That's how almost all of this screening works. Asking somebody what they actually believe takes time, and looking at them takes a second, so everybody just looks.
The one check that actually caught him came after he'd already said it on national TV.

In 1987, Patrick Stewart refused to unpack his suitcase for six straight weeks.
My throat still tightens every time I read why.
Every Hollywood insider told the 47-year-old British stage actor that Star Trek: The Next Generation would be a disaster. Even his closest friend, Ian McKellen, begged him not to throw away his Shakespearean career on a television gamble.
Stewart kept his bags packed by the door, waiting to be fired and sent home to London.
That "six-week failure" lasted 36 years.
Watching him late at night here in Japan, we saw something Hollywood never expected.
In Japan, we call this quiet, unbreakable spirit "Fudoshin," an immovable heart under fire.
Most action heroes scream and fire weapons to look strong.
Captain Picard never needed to raise his voice.
Born into deep poverty in Yorkshire, terrified of a violent home, he left school at age 15 and lost all his hair by 19, convinced his life as an actor was over before it began.
Yet one English teacher, Cecil Dormand, handed that frightened 12-year-old boy a copy of Shakespeare, said "Read it out loud," and secretly paid for his first drama course.
Never forget what happened decades later.
On the morning Queen Elizabeth II knighted him as Sir Patrick Stewart, he invited that same retired schoolteacher to sit beside him at his knighthood luncheon.
No suitcase left unpacked.
No rage on the bridge.
Just a cup of Earl Grey tea, a tug of his uniform, and three quiet words that commanded the galaxy:
"Make it so."
He passed away at 86 surrounded by live music, prayer, tears, and laughter.
And this December, in Avengers: Doomsday, Professor X will grace the screen one final time.
A boy who thought he wouldn't last six weeks in Hollywood gave the world an eternity of nobility.
From Japan, with tears and our deepest salute:
Thank you, Captain. Engage. ✨🖖🇯🇵

Imagine being the richest man on the planet, looking like a junior Pillsbury doughboy wearing an awful haircut that looks like your son did it, and acting like a court jester in front of your own people! 🤡
HILARIOUS! 😂

Trump and the GOP have been working hard to keep this video from being reposted on social media. Repost it, keep it alive. Too many people aren't paying attention to who Donald Trump is.
He's a liar, and by his own words, he must be held accountable.🤥

Yes... this is another part of the ad that is vile. This woman seems out of her wits. She was arrested in 2021 for leaving a bunch of cats inside of a sweltering car with the windows closed. This woman is not well. She doesn't know what she's doing or where she is.
