Strategy Spotlight 🔦 This week: Universe 🌐 Universe is our S&P 500-style approach to $TAO, designed to give delegates diversified exposure to the ecosystem while filtering out subnets that have not met broad KPIs required for inclusion. The basket currently includes 50+ selected subnets and is continuously maintained as the ecosystem evolves so delegates are staked in the subnets really shipping. Over the past 90 days, Universe has delivered an 8.62% modeled return, outperforming Sum of Subnets by a healthy margin. The results speak for themselves below. As we head into what could be an incredibly exciting Q4, let’s take a moment to reflect on what we accomplished in Q3. Security First. Always. We successfully integrated our application stack and infrastructure with @CautionHosting, taking the security of TrustedStake to an entirely new level. In layman’s terms, our critical signing operations now run inside a secure enclave, with cryptographic attestation allowing us to verify that the code being executed is exactly the code we intended to run. Our mission has always been to provide the most secure, non-custodial staking infrastructure in the Bittensor ecosystem. But why stop at secure when we can continue hardening our systems to establish the gold standard? That's exactly what we've been doing. Building for Root Reborn. Alongside some of the brilliant minds in this ecosystem pushing Root Reborn forward, our team successfully built a comprehensive internal dashboard for basket trading, rebalancing, and portfolio monitoring. This gives us unprecedented visibility into our root validator's operations and allows us to make informed basket allocation decisions for the highest Root yields, with careful consideration for fees, portfolio turnover, and constituent selection. The goal is simple: smarter management, more efficient execution, and better infrastructure for optimal root performance. Scaling Our Infrastructure and Ecosystem Integrations. As we climb the wall of worry out of the bear market and toward what we believe could be a new bull cycle (NFA), the breadth and sophistication of strategies offered by our talented managers continue to grow. To support this, we've spent a considerable amount of time strengthening our integration infrastructure, expanding support for custom solutions, and simplifying our documentation for partners and distributors. Our goal is to make integrating with TrustedStake as seamless as possible, allowing partners to focus on building and distributing great products without having to navigate the constant technical changes occurring on Bittensor, sometimes on a near-daily basis. The basket is actively managed with daily analysis across the included subnets and rebalanced based on market cap weights. The results speak for themselves. ICYMI: @allan_quantifi from @taogalaxy_ published a sharp piece earlier this week on why a great subnet is not automatically a great investment, and how ranking, not just “quality,” drives returns. Their Momentum Index is now live for selected stakers on TrustedStake. It applies a classic factor approach to dTAO by identifying subnets whose recent outperformance has historically persisted, then systematically allocating based on that signal rather than chasing narratives. Due to an issue identified on-chain yesterday evening involving the RealPaysFee mechanism, a fix was pushed without advance notice to minimize the risk of the issue being exploited or used to compromise wallets. Thankfully, we were able to catch the chain change quickly, rebuild our engine around it, and ship an updated version with minimal disruption to users. Going forward, all users will need to visit the app and re-sign the RealPaysFee extrinsic so their wallets are updated for the new hotfix and remain included in all rebalances and execution. This is a one-time signature, and users will be prompted as soon as they open the app. (Image below.) We apologize for the disruption to the user experience. On the other hand... Fast asf boi. We’re excited to announce our integration with @taogalaxy_. taogalaxy builds systematic investment strategies for the Bittensor ecosystem, giving $TAO holders a quantitative way to allocate across subnets without having to constantly decide what to buy, sell or rebalance themselves. Their strategies use rules-based models to identify opportunities across the subnet market and manage portfolio construction and risk systematically. Through our integration, taogalaxy strategies can be executed automatically using TrustedStake infrastructure, while investors keep full custody of their $TAO. The team has been a pleasure to work with, and we’re excited to help make quantitative investing on Bittensor accessible to a broader set of $TAO holders. More to come. 🤝

Great to see this case study with @CautionHosting go live. TrustedStake was built around a simple principle: users should never have to give up custody of their assets to access professional staking infrastructure. But non-custodial alone is not the finish line. Our signer can only stake and unstake through a restricted proxy, so it cannot withdraw user funds. The remaining risk is execution integrity: is the software deciding where stake goes actually the exact software that was reviewed? With Caution, our transaction construction and signing service now runs inside an AWS Nitro Enclave. Signing keys stay isolated from the host, while cryptographic attestation proves the production code has not been modified. Reproducible builds also mean changes to the signer, dependencies, allocation logic, or underlying system change the enclave measurement and become detectable. For $TAO infrastructure managing nearly 80,000 TAO across 3,000+ delegators and $250M+ in volume this year, that is a meaningful step forward. Thanks to @CautionHosting, we believe TrustedStake is among the first projects in all of DeFi to implement this level of verifiable compute and signing infrastructure into production for real user capital.
