Gene therapy. Two words that strike tedium in to the heart of anyone who hears nincompoops scaremongering about the mRNA vaccines.
But are they gene therapy?

I captured this video in my lab to show the power of medicines called T-cell engagers.
Left: T cells move in and out of a cancer tumoroid, largely ignoring it.
Right: Add a T-cell engager, and the T cells attack. Once they recognize their targets, they tear through the tumor.
Oh dear, our angry little sausage has blocked me now.
I wonder if he's so aggressive in real life? It certainly seems like he has some real deep insecurities he's trying to mask with his tough guy act.

Don’t give a fuck but your pinned post is literally you crying about others getting a vaccine. 🤣 Boo hoooooo.

This is basically a classical dangerous Gain of Function (dGoF) experiment. I wish the US government would shut it down.
A while ago, Stacey Schultz-Cherry and I wrote a commentary (pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/article…), that ends with this sentence:
US: Bird flu has been spreading for around two months on a Utah mink farm holding thousands of animals. None have been culled, workers aren't being monitored, and the USDA says it doesn't regulate mink. So thousands of animals are exposed, workers could be at risk, and nobody seems to be taking responsibility.

This rare pic of Laurel & Hardy was part of a collection of advertising-related studio photos. Stan and Ollie are posing as part of the advertising campaign for the jackets. Photograph dates from when they were shooting their 2nd feature film Pack Up Your Troubles in 1932

Most people know Dr. Peter Hotez from his television appearances during COVID, his defense of vaccination, and the relentless attacks directed at him on social media.
I know Peter as a friend. And I want to tell you about another part of his life that rarely enters those arguments.
For more than four decades, Peter has devoted much of his scientific career to diseases that afflict some of the poorest people on Earth. Diseases that cause enormous suffering but attract relatively little commercial investment because the people who need treatment often cannot afford to pay for it.
Hookworm. Schistosomiasis. Chagas disease. Leishmaniasis.
These are hardly household names. Their victims rarely make headlines, and the scientists working on them seldom become celebrities.
Peter chose this field long before COVID, long before the cable news appearances, and long before strangers began calling him a pharmaceutical industry shill.
His career deserves a closer look.
Because the work tells a story that is almost entirely absent from the accusations made against him.

This morning in Kherson, Russians killed a dog with a drone, added a pop music soundtrack and posted it to their channels.
Video probably can't be shown on this platform, but to fully understand Russian culture, the nation now allied with and aided by the White House and the majority shareholder of Tesla car company and X, the vid is up on Exilenova Telegram.

Fake scientist Anika Sweetland just claimed there is no such thing as "average (mean) ocean surface temperature" because ships dont measure every sq m of the ocean. Hint for Anika: it is collected by over 4000 ARGO buoys, ships AND satellites. See data.marine.copernicus.eu/pr…

100 years ago, today, Dixie Dean returned to EFC first team action after having his career threatened by a motorcycle accident in North Wales. He scored, naturally.
