Seems that the real world has finally caught up with little boy Boam
Investigations, carried out ahead of the meetings, concluded Boam failed to treat former council monitoring officer Lauren Haslam with respect and, seperately, brought the authority into disrepute with posts about a row over bus routes.
Boam has denied breaching the code of conduct and called the complaint process "a ridiculous waste of taxpayer money".
Council reports said Boam had declined to apologise in both cases, or engage with the investigations.

Every step she took felt like she was walking through agony.
She arrived at our shelter late night after almost eight hours on the road.
When she stepped down from the vehicle, her front legs seemed to fold beneath her. Her knees buckle with every step, and watching her try to walk honestly felt like someone was stamping on my heart.
What have we become, that an animal can be allowed to reach this state?
This beautiful older mare was found by our wonderful supporters Mr and Mrs Imran Khan.
While Imran was visiting Pakistan from the UK, he found her tied outside โ exposed to the heat, rain and weather, often without proper food or water.
He pleaded with the owner. He argued. He tried everything.
In the end, the only immediate way he could get her out was to buy her.
She was not fit to make the long journey to us then, so Imran kept her at his home, arranged treatment and cared for her until she was strong enough to travel. Before returning to the UK, he arranged for her to come to TAWF.
And now she is finally here. โค๏ธ
Tomorrow morning we are sending her bloods for testing. She has arthritis, but I am especially concerned about the way her front knees bend and buckle when she walks.
To my equine-experienced followers: I would really value your thoughts and experience on what you would want investigated in a mare presenting like this. Our veterinary team will of course make the medical decisions, but your experience is always valuable to us.
And I need another bit of advice.
She appears to be around 25 years old โ very similar in age to our completely blind boy, Lucky Star.
Lucky Star has a large, comfortable area with soft ground, which would also suit her beautifully.
Would older horses like these generally benefit from companionship in the same space, provided introductions are done carefully? Or would you keep them beside one another but separated at first?
We would, of course, make sure there was no possibility of breeding.

๐จ A sheep farmer has been left facing losses of about ยฃ23,000 after 53 lambs were killed and another 14 seriously injured in a dog attack in Wigan.
Steven Blacklidge said he was 'horrified' after being told police would not authorise further enquiries, citing insufficient evidence and budget pressures, despite new livestock worrying laws coming into force earlier this year.
Greater Manchester Police has since confirmed an investigation is underway and said it is taking the incident 'incredibly seriously'.

Knowing how many wild visitors we get, our catering staff (AKA our incredible Keepers) always leave out plenty of lucerne hay, while the water trough is fed by a nearby borehole with its own desalination plant to boot.

Now the Telegraph is owned by a German ๐ฉ๐ช company.
And that German owner is cutting up to 100 jobs as it restructures the paper into a โglobal, AI-poweredโ business.
Some of its most hardline Brexit voices are also reported to be among those leaving.
Perhaps there is a lesson here. Markets really are global. Capital really does cross borders.
And shouting โsovereigntyโ does not stop decisions about British jobs being made somewhere else.
Brexit promised control.
The ownership structure tells a rather different story.

This lad is seven years old and is very fat, his owner struggled with his general care.
He is a very sweet lad and behaved well at the vets for his vaccinations.
He is vaccinated and parasite treated.
He has dog tested well, I have a video for interested rescues.
Thai lad needs an understanding place as is is sensitive, although he has been well behaved since he has been in the system, there is some history, I can elaborate on with rescues.
Nice older boy in need of a chance. Have any of our rescues got a space?

After a week fighting for his life, 12-year-old Artem Koval has died in hospital. He was critically injured in a Russian drone strike on a crowded park in Nova Vodolaha, Kharkiv region.
His eight-year-old sister, Arina, was killed in the attack, along with five other civilians, including a one-year-old girl in her stroller.
