No surprises. I reached out to his office when he was Minister of Public and Business Delivery requesting he exercise his authority under the Condo Act to appoint a supervisor to our condo corp.
No response for weeks. Finally told us to waste money and go to court.
Sadly, I’m not at all surprised to hear this @fordnation Minister is MIA. Last year, when we had a major sewage spill in Beaches-East York, it took days for his office to act. They didn’t even know what I was talking about when I called days after the spill was first reported.
Would have loved to see a video like this on or near the site of a proposed and controversial site.
Would’ve shown she’s in tune with that communities concerns. Not the same impact in front of a staircase.
Residents have raised important questions about data centres, including electricity, water and infrastructure.
Those are fair questions, and they deserve clear answers.
As Mayor, I’ll bring together independent experts to provide the facts and help Council develop a clear framework that protects residents.
