This is one of those stories you hear as a kid, then five years later someone tells you it’s apocryphal, then another five years later someone tells you it being apocryphal is apocryphal and the cycle continues for the rest of your life with you never once bothering to look it up
In the 1980s, Domino's Pizza ran ads urging people to "avoid the noid", a gremlin who made competitors' pizza deliveries late and cold Unfortunately, a paranoid schizophrenic named Ken Noid thought he was being personally targeted, so he took hostages at a local Domino's After a few hours, he got hungry and had the workers make him a pizza, and after eating the whole thing, he got a little sleepy and the hostages escaped, and he surrendered to the police shortly after

Manager Calls Police on Black Man — Minutes Later They Learn He Owns 12 Restaurants#story #storytime #stories
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This video is a fabricated storytime clip, not a real incident. No news reports, police records or other sources document the described events involving a "Marcus" owning 12 Georgia restaurants; it repurposes old unrelated bodycam footage with overlaid narration. snopes.com/fact-check/rac… leadstories.com/hoax-alert/202… x.com/grok/status/21…

KFC'S NEWEST COMMERCIAL IS VERY DISTURBING! THERE IS ALWAYS TRUTH IN PLAIN SIGHT! 😳

The video is a real KFC UK ad by Mother London for the Dirty Louisiana chicken burger. It references the Ortolan bird-eating tradition (napkins over heads) to show the saucy burger as "so indulgent it's indecent." creativebrief.com/agency/mother-… decisionmarketing.co.uk/news/new-kfc-a… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ortolan_b…

#PupalLegends Gunung Ledang (Ledang Mountain) is famously a hotbed of supernatural activity. The urban legend goes that a teacher on a school trip could never get her group count right. Somehow, she always counted an extra child no matter how she did it.

99% of conspiracy theories completely fall apart by simply asking “why would they do that”
I actually never understood this whole “they’re feeding us human meat” thing like do you actually think human meat is cheaper and more easily accessible than industrial farming genetically modified chickens please be serious

The 1980s phantom clown scare all over again (I know this is not a clown suit, but read the research of @CryptoLoren into this weird flap. And do remember the 1970s axe wielding bunnyman of Fairfax County sightings.
🚨WHAT THE HELL?!!! Panic is ensuing in Fredericksburg, VA after a man in a PINK PANTHER COSTUME tried to abduct MULTIPLE CHILDREN from a school bus stop in BROAD DAYLIGHT! Four kids got off of a bus where a man in a pink costume was waiting across the street. When the bus drove away, he crossed the street and started CHASING all four kids and GRABBED the smallest girl. Her sister pulled her free and then a passing car scared him off. The kids saw his face through a tear in the costume and they believe him to be a male with facial hair, and a tan complexion. ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING!!!

Met a lady at a wedding this weekend who told me a story about growing up in London, apparently there was a curry shop close to her house, turns out cat pets had been disappearing in the neighbourhood. Yep. They were using cat and pigeon meat for curries.

Remember the "Mikey" rumor? The kid that played Mikey in the Life cereal commercials was supposed to have died from eating Pop Rocks, he mixed it with soda & his stomach exploded!! Urban legend, schoolyard myth. Well, I almost told my granddaughter this last night while watching her eat Pop Rocks but decided against it because she was quiet and it was time for quiet 🤣😅

Wild story blowing up in Spanish circles 😱 50% real, 50% urban legend?? Back in 2017, Reuters dropped a huge exposé on ‘body brokers’ in the US—companies legally buying donated bodies, chopping them up like meat, and selling parts for medical research (yes, parts even shipped to North Carolina!). But the creepiest viral twist: rumors of medical pros using a local app + delivery drivers to hand out ‘human meat’ to people who asked… Real scandal or total creepypasta? I’m just translating what’s going viral—no claiming it’s 100% true! What do you think? 👀 Drop a 😱 if this gave you chills. #BodyBrokers #HumanMeatRumors #CreepyPasta #ReutersExposed #UrbanLegend #DarkStories #ViralCreepy #TrueCrimeTwist

A long running urban legend in Moscow is that the giant Boris Yeltsin-era Peter the Great statue by Zurab Tsereteli was originally meant to be Columbus for the 500th anniversary in 1992. Allegedly Americans cities said no thanks to the massive, pricey monument… so it got a new head, new story, and in 1997 became Peter instead, so the story goes…
BREAKING; Trump is planning to install a statue of Christopher Columbus outside the White House: report. The explorer who discovered America
