People arent deeping that first clip enough, "Licha" literally used his entire body weight to try and pull Rogers down and he got dragged with him like a carnival ride

Context dependent imo: Licha was quite good in 22/23 especially on the ball as always, but the context was that we defended in a way that suited him and he was "carried" pretty clearly in spaces, box defending and defensive transitions by the combo of Varane and Casemiro
Said Baleba has flaws with technical consistency and decision making like 2 weeks ago and got mobbed by clueless United fans 😭😭😭

Yup think the answer is contextual, the "why" behind the usage is the key and how the rest of the team can support the MF play.
Question- Is having your DM drop into your backline splitting CBs a “tactical decline”?
Some might see it as a solution to limited technical flaws in their 6 receiving off the back foot.
I see it as combating the central #s teams are adding lately to pull them out of shape.
