Urrrrrr...All major papers of Victor Ambros are shared with his wife Rosalind Lee....
Does the nobel committee just hate women called "Rosalind"???
Congratulations to our 2024 medicine laureate Victor Ambros ✨
This morning he celebrated the news of his prize with his colleague and wife Rosalind Lee, who was also the first author on the 1993 'Cell' paper cited by the Nobel Committee.

Another powerful read. Image registration is one of my "bits on the side", one of those amazing things amazing people do and I just appreciate passionately. Look at this beautiful example of deformable registration that surpassed all previous results by a large margin
A new version is out on arXiv of our paper "INSPIRE: Intensity and spatial information-based deformable image registration" arxiv.org/abs/2012.07208
A high-performance general-purpose addition for the parametric (B-spline transformation) deformable registration toolbox.

We combine the distance measure with an inverse inconcistency measure to obtain an approximately symmetric method.

I like these papers that have questions as titles and it's even better when they actually answer it. Is image-to-image translation the panacea for multimodal image registration? find out here: doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone…
