Drawing from Poland's own history, Agnieszka Maliszewska stressed that integration requires meeting strict standard adaptations that take time and rigorous preparation. ​🤝​Despite structural differences and market competition, Polish dairy #cooperatives are leading by example through active dialogue and sharing knowledge. By transferring regulatory insights and experiences, cooperatives are actively helping Ukrainian partners navigate the complex road ahead.

🇺🇦 At the Ukraine Recovery Conference #URC2026 in Gdańsk, Cogeca's Vice President, Agnieszka Maliszewska took the stage for the 🇪🇺 cooperatives on how Cooperatives contributes to Ukraine’s sustainable recovery of agri-food and energy sectors towards EU Integration: "Our aim is to support farmers at every stage of the value chain and, at the same time, provide consumers with safe, high-quality food. It is a system of interconnected vessels built on trust and quality." ​Cooperatives aren't just businesses, they are democratic, community-driven models, essential for rebuilding resilient rural economies and empower small producers.

Today the Working Party on Research & Innovation had a valuable exchange with @DarioNardella on the future of Horizon Europe and the European Competitiveness Fund. We shared a common vision: placing agriculture and food security at the heart of a stronger, more competitive Europe, driven by innovation and resilience. The EU Institutions  need to fully recognise the sector's potential to contribute to Europe's strategic objectives!

🌱 This week at the @Europarl_EN, we celebrated the opening of “The Future of Farming is Cooperative” exhibition, organised by @Raiffeisen_DRV, with traditional music and insightful discussions. Cogeca’s President @LennartN_LRF explored the installation, highlighting how cooperatives are the backbone of European agriculture: ensuring food security, driving innovation and empowering farmers through democracy, participation, and shared responsibility. This exhibition, hosted by MEP Christine Singer is showcasing to MEPs, all EP's workers and visitors how much 🇪🇺 cooperatives belonging to farmers play a role in the food they find on shelves and eat everyday💪
