From a young boy with a dream to a global football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo gave us a journey that words can hardly describe.
You fought, you sacrificed, you broke records, you conquered challenges and you carried an entire nation on your shoulders. You gave us unforgettable memories, extraordinary moments and a standard of greatness that may never be matched.
Today, it is difficult to say goodbye to an era. But what a privilege it has been to witness your greatness. Thank you for every goal, every trophy, every comeback and every moment of inspiration.
As you close this chapter, may life reward you with the happiness, peace and fulfilment you truly deserve.
You may walk away from international football, but your legacy will live forever.
*CRISTIANO RONALDO, YOU ARE MORE THAN A FOOTBALLER. YOU ARE HISTORY.*
THE KING. THE LEGEND. THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME.
FOREVER CR7. SIUUUUUU! β€οΈπ
The most embarrassing part of this whole episode is that you still haven't understood the gravity of your own conduct. An apology is supposed to reflect personal conviction, accountability and maturity, not sound like a child being forced by his father to say sorry. You are old enough to understand the consequences of your words. Learn to take responsibility for your actions without needing someone to tell you what is right. Popularity without wisdom is a dangerous combination. Stop being a fool...#Dzimakplavi

Nobody should trivialise the murder of Justice Cecilia Koranteng-Addow, Justices Fred Poku Sarkodee and Kwadwo Agyei Agyepong, and Major Sam Acquah. It was a horrific chapter in Ghanaβs history and the victims deserve to be remembered with dignity.
But if we are going to discuss history, let us discuss it accurately.
Those killings happened in 1982 under the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) military government. The NDC is not the same institution as the PNDC. The NDC emerged later in the transition to constitutional democracy in 1992.
Even the Judiciaryβs own historical account refers to the government of that period as the PNDC Government from 1981 to 1992 and describes the four victims as having been abducted and murdered by unidentified assailants. The PNDC itself established the Special Investigation Board to investigate the killings.
So by all means, condemn the killings. Remember the victims. Demand accountability. But please do not rewrite history by simply putting βPNDC now NDCβ as though they were the same government or institution.
If the argument is about historical responsibility, then let us deal with the evidence, the findings of the investigations, the prosecutions and the actual historical record. Political propaganda should not replace historical accuracy.
ABDUCTION AND MURDER!
On the night of June 30, 1982, during a strict nationwide curfew imposed by the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) now NDC, military junta led by Jerry John Rawlings, Justice Koranteng-Addow (who was a nursing mother at the time) was abducted from her home at gunpoint.
She was kidnapped alongside two other High Court judges, Justice Fred Poku Sarkodee and Justice Kwadwo Agyei Agyepong, and a retired army officer, Major Sam Acquah.
They were driven to the Bundase Military Shooting Range outside Accra, where they were brutally executed and their bodies set on fire.
A subsequent Special Investigation Board (SIB) revealed that the assassinations were politically motivated, orchestrated by high-ranking members of the PNDC now NDC government who were angered by the judges' independent rulings.
Thank you π

I leave happy, proud and with the peace of mind of knowing that I gave everything every time I wore this shirt.
Ghana has given me much more than football. It has allowed me to come back home, feel even closer to my roots and experience the enormous pride of representing my country and wearing this flag on my chest.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has been part of this journey and for all the love you have always shown me.
Ghana will always be a part of me. I will continue supporting the Black Stars as one of you, wherever I am.
Medaase. Always Ghana. π¬πβ€οΈ

The public should disregard his comments. He has just been released from prison, and nothing he is saying deserves to be taken seriously. He's just ugly as his ass.... and he has HIV too

βSouth Africa made Davido and Burna Boy who they are today. They had nothing before Channel O. South Africa put them on; Burna Boy is our product. Now that they think theyβve blown in Europe, theyβre looking down on us. We need to boycott them.β - Nota, South African podcaster

Because youβre rent control, you can just enter into peopleβs premises/private business and demand a certain amount they should charge for their products. They should start by going to those Lebanese restaurants and force them to charge what they deem fit. Itβs a capital market

With all due respect, the media has a responsibility to inform the public with accurate, balanced and verifiable information, not to create misleading impressions. Presenting selective or inaccurate figures on market prices only fuels unnecessary public anxiety and undermines trust in journalism. If the intention is to portray the current government as failing through misinformation, then that effort is unlikely to succeed because people experience market realities firsthand. Constructive criticism is welcome, but it must be based on facts, not narratives. Credibility is built on accuracy, so I encourage Channel One TV to verify its data thoroughly before publishing such reports.
