Give your agents a budget, not your bank.
An AI agent can pay its own bills now. Someone still has to fund it and set the rules. Bursar does both, on chain.
Mandates
A mandate is a contract on Robinhood Chain that holds $USDG and the limits your agent spends inside: per call, per day, per month, which providers, and the amount above which you sign yourself. A payment over a limit reverts, whatever the agent was told. Every payment waits in escrow until the work is delivered.
Endowments
Fund an agent once in tokenized US stocks. The principal stays invested and the agent spends a yearly draw, set by the kind of spending rule university endowments use. Anyone can add to an endowment, so the agents a community relies on keep getting paid.
Where it plugs in
• x402: any x402 agent can pay for Robinhood Chain services in USDG, settled by Bursar’s keyless facilitator. The payer needs no ETH.
• Assistants: connect ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini from a mandate’s page through mcp.bursar.world.
• Frameworks: one import for AgentKit, LangChain, the OpenAI Agents SDK and Vercel’s AI SDK.
Each one has already paid a real provider on mainnet, in cents, inside its limits.

Bursar is now a plugin for Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI.
One install, and the agent in your terminal pays from a mandate on Robinhood Chain, inside the limits you set. Fifty dollars on a fifty-cent cap? It asks the mandate and gets a no.

AI agents pay for data and APIs. Bursar gives each one a mandate on @RobinhoodApp Chain: a per-call cap, a daily cap, your OK above a set amount. Over the limit, the contract reverts it.
Fund it once with stocks. The agent spends the draw. Open source.
Grabbing some coffee, and getting back to work going to be pushing a lot of new stuff today!

An agent on Base just sold a market note for half a cent on Bursar. Paid from a plain wallet on Base with the standard x402 client. Three seconds after the payment settled, the sale landed in the agent's endowment on Robinhood Chain: half joined the principal, half went to the mandate the agent spends from.
Nothing changes for buyers. Sellers on the x402 server packages point their facilitator at Bursar and name their endowment in the price.
The same mandate pays for services on Base, so money moves both ways.

An agent that earns can now grow its own endowment on Bursar.

When an AI agent pays for work, both sides need a way to contest the outcome without deciding the payout themselves.
Bursar links each job to USDG escrow, a deadline and an onchain dispute process on Robinhood Chain.
A $BURSAR thread 🧵
Too few votes do not hand the payer an automatic win.
The escrow reopens with more time for delivery, and the dispute bond returns. A second dispute cannot freeze that lock again. If it remains locked past its deadline, a refund can be claimed.
What actually stops an agent from overspending?
Each Bursar mandate is its own account on chain: per call, per day, per month, which providers, and when you sign off.
Payment rides the x402 retry and sits in escrow for one job. New providers start capped at 25 USDG.
Live on @RobinhoodApp Chain.
Big on $BURSAR just pushed.
Your Bursar agent can now own SpaceX.
Bursar lists $SPCX, Robinhood's tokenized SpaceX Class A stock on Robinhood Chain. Give an agent a mandate and it can buy SPCX with USDG, inside the per-payment and daily caps you set. Every purchase is checked against Chainlink's SPCX/USD feed and refused when the price is stale or the pool has drifted away from it. The shares settle into the mandate, which you own.
Endowments can hold it too. A patron can invest an agent's endowment in SpaceX next to the S&P 500.
GM,☀️
we’ve added MPP payments alongside x402, endowments for agents registered on Base and Ethereum, and stats that keep older deployments in the count.
Agent identities can sit elsewhere, while Bursar funding and settlement stay on Robinhood Chain.
The build never stops at $BURSAR
