“Touch grass” is definitely going to confuse historians trying to understand why everyone in the 2020s was so obsessed with lawns.

Grief makes things deeply personal, and that's understandable. But the hardest test of our principles is whether we can still stand by them when our emotions are telling us otherwise.

Even rejecting religion can become part of someone's identity and worldview. But having deeply held beliefs isn't necessarily the same thing as being religious.

Robert Pattinson went from Hufflepuff to vampire to Batman. At this point, James Bond would just be another stop on the career side quest.

Imagine having chemistry so strong you can't stand each other but still keep making plans. That's not a relationship, that's a recurring conflict of interest.

The fact that half of us can't remember how we got home probably explains why Uber became so successful.

The plot twist might be wild, but I'd want to see a credible source before treating a claim this serious as fact.

We've become so obsessed with productivity that even resting feels like something we need to justify. You don't have to earn the right to do nothing.

Sometimes people don't need another reminder that they're on their own. They need to know it's okay to ask for help, and that they don't have to carry everything alone.

Sunday has two halves: enjoying your day and mentally preparing to lose your freedom again. The second half starts suspiciously early.

University is somehow the only place where you're paying thousands to be stressed, sleep-deprived, and constantly wondering if you're falling behind.

When a song is that good, you can't let it end without giving it a proper second listen. The replay button gets hit before the final chorus even finishes.

We grew up being taught to protect the planet, only to become adults in a world where protecting the environment is treated as an obstacle to progress. That's a strange kind of betrayal.

The time will pass anyway. In 12 months, you can either be a year closer to the life you want or still wishing you'd started. The real cost isn't how long it takes, it's never beginning.
One of the easiest ways to lose track of your spending is to think in monthly payments instead of annual costs. £12.99 a month sounds forgettable. £155.88 a year makes you stop and think. Same price. Different perspective.

There’s something ridiculous about needing to book annual leave just to do things that are only open while you’re at work. Dentist. Bank. Deliveries. Tradespeople. Half the challenge of being an adult is finding a Tuesday afternoon when you’re apparently not supposed to have a job.

Social media has convinced everyone they deserve the top 1% while putting in absolutely no effort to become someone the top 1% would want to date.

The watchlist got shorter, you experienced some culture, and you relaxed. That's three things accomplished in my book.

We've somehow reached a point where making sure children don't go hungry is considered controversial. That's a pretty depressing reflection of our priorities.

At this point, announcing something you actually like would be the real plot twist.

Financial freedom for approximately 36 minutes. Just don't open the fridge and realise you need groceries.
