You buy insurance thinking your wife & kids are safe. Reality? They might not get a single rupee.
Unless you use this 150 year old law that makes the payout 100% untouchable
The biggest unmonetized media asset in India is the Big Fat Indian Wedding.
You have 200 to 5,000 high net worth individuals locked in a resort for three days. It is a completely captive and hyper targeted audience. Yet there is zero ad inventory.
Brands will happily burn ₹5 Crores for a 10 second IPL ad where people are looking at their phones but they completely ignore the most concentrated luxury demographic sitting right in front of them.
Even in a Tier 3 village, a local tractor company, a regional jewelry brand or a hyper local FMCG distributor would gladly pay to sponsor an event with 1000 guaranteed local consumers in one tent.
This can completely flip the unit economics of the Indian wedding. Instead of a family going into debt to host an event, this can turn it into a sponsored marketplace.
Why are families burning ₹2 Crores on a wedding and extracting ₹0 in corporate sponsorships?
Imagine a premium beverage sponsor taking over the sangeet bar or a luxury auto brand placing a flagship car at the venue entrance to offset the event cost.
This is the greatest attention arbitrage in the country. In Gujarat, Navratri events have lot of sponsorships.
I am looking for a co-founder to build this marketplace with an appetite for execution. This market is a multi billion dollar white space.
The biggest lie mutual fund advisors told the middle class is that mutual funds are a safe place to park savings for the short term.
Red Bull sells you 80mg of caffeine for ₹125.
He is selling 40mg for ₹2.
Now think about who actually needs caffeine in India.
More than 1.5 crore gig workers on 12 hour shifts who will never spend ₹125 on a can.
If he cracks distribution, I can see a ₹500 crore company.
7,220 patent applications: 2,655 in India, 4,565 abroad, 1,043 granted as per the RHP.
Part of what 212 anchors were reading before they bid about ₹2.5 lakh crore for ₹8,110 crore of shares.

A rule worth checking before applying JIO ipo that one PAN cannot be used for duplicate applications in the same category.
Eligible family members should apply separately using their own details and accounts, in accordance with the official rules.

HNI Indian fathers are paying for their GenZ sons adult daycare.
The most useless employee in any Indian SME is the owner's 25 year old GenZ son whose LinkedIn says Executive Director."
It is the ultimate Indian wealth trap. He has never negotiated a supply chain contract, never handled a labor dispute and doesn't know how to read his own company's balance sheet.
His only daily deliverable is strolling into the factory at 11 AM, sitting in an AC cabin to play Director-Director for four hours, ordering a cold brew on Zomato and leaving.
Meanwhile, his 55 year old father is still grinding out a 12 hour shift to keep the cash flow alive.
Giving your kid a C suite title without making them work in the warehouse first doesn't make them a founder. It just turns your business into a heavily funded adult daycare.
If your father is funding your AC cabin and your title. You are just a massive liability on a monthly allowance.
Today on Dussehra, Gujarat will generate more than ₹500 crore of Jalebi Fafda sales. Your favourite so called tier 2 city like Ahmedabad alone will generate ₹200 crores in a single 24 hour window.
Do you know who is capturing this market?
A regular 9 to 5 corporate employee who took the day off will hit the streets with a temporary setup and is currently executing a ₹3 Lakh top line business while you are sleeping in on a public holiday.
Gyms, grocery stores, clothing boutiques and jewellers everyone puts a temporary counter outside on the pavement to participate in a ₹500 Crore single day sprint.
They win because their entire ecosystem has zero ego when it comes to making money. They don't win because of privilege.
If you want to compete with Gujarat, stop crying about where the government is sending its investments. Fix your poverty mindset, drop your ego and learn how to actually do dhandho.
They are telling the Indian middle class to stop buying gold to save the Rupee while simultaneously handing them a loaded gun to gamble in the US stock market.
The government wants to reduce gold imports. But suddenly major discount brokers like Zerodha or Groww are offering US stocks investing.
Both actions require sending USD out of the country. So why is one penalized and the other allowed?
Indian stocks have strict upper and lower circuits to protect retail wealth. Gold is the ultimate safety net. US stocks have zero caps. A foreign company can tank 50% overnight wiping out an Indian retail investor's savings before they even wake up.
I am not against global investing. In fact, geographic diversification is basic risk management. Now after getting the option a small retail investor like me will divert some portion like 5000₹ per month SIP from Indian markets to US markets as it’s easy to buy now.
This is a Double Decker problem.
1. Indian ₹ going out.
2. Retail SIPs (shock absorbers) will move a portion from Indian markets to global markets.
Yes, Gold imports hit the current account while LRS is capital account. I am not mixing the two. Both mechanisms ultimately require foreign exchange to leave Indian shores.
Tell me where I am wrong.
You think your bank account is safe because your phone has Face ID and a complex passcode. It is an absolute illusion.
If your phone gets stolen today, thieves just pop out your SIM card and put it in a ₹500 basic phone and dial *99# (India’s offline USSD banking code). All this without unlocking your phone.
From there, they request a UPI PIN reset, receive the OTP on your stolen SIM and drain your bank account in 2 minutes.
Your expensive phone lock is useless if your SIM card is unlocked.
Enable a SIM PIN lock right now:
• iPhone: Settings > Mobile service > SIMs > SIM PIN > Turn on
• Android: Settings > Security > More security settings > SIM card lock > Turn on
The default PIN is almost always 1234 or 0000. Change it immediately. Do not guess it more than 3 times or your SIM will lock and require a PUK code from your operator.
Stop relying on screen locks. Secure your actual network and if your phone is ever stolen then block the SIM before you even try to block the bank account.
If I woke up tomorrow and it was 2016, I would not buy stocks, real estate or bitcoin.
I would walk out of my college classroom and never go back.
I would go home and I would tell my dad we are going to mumbai or delhi. Wherever the best hospital in the country is, that's where we are going. He would argue. He would say it's nothing. He would say he's fine, he's always been fine, who has time for this.
And for once in my life, I would not listen to him.
I would sit outside the room while they checked everything. Blood pressure, cholesterol. Every number I didn't know the name of back then. I would learn all of them. I would write them down. I would become the most annoying son in India by calling him every morning, asking if he took the tablet, asking what he ate.
There is a blind spot we all have when we are young as we treat replaceable things like they are urgent and irreplaceable people like they are permanent. We stress over exams, careers and milestones that won't matter in five years, while assuming the people who built us have decades left on the clock.
I would give up the engineering degree without a second thought. It taught me nothing anyway. The man standing next to me taught me everything.
I didn't get to do any of that.
I lost him in 2017. I was 19 and I thought there was time. There's always time, until the day there isn't.
Today is his birthday.
I have built a few things since then. People sometimes call me successful. I would trade all of it, every bit, for one more ordinary Sunday with him. Take everything.
Give me back my dad.
3. Who Can Be Locked Into This Trust?
Only three combinations are allowed as beneficiaries:
• Your wife alone
• Your child/children alone
• Your wife and children together
In fact, once it’s locked in, not even you can remove them as beneficiaries.
4. How Powerful Is It?
Imagine a businessman buys a ₹5 Cr Term Plan under the MWP Act.
If he passes away, the banks can seize his property, cars and savings but here the banks get ₹0.
The insurer is legally bound to pay the full ₹5 Cr straight to his wife and children.
1. Your Nominee is NOT the owner of your insurance payout.
Legally, a nominee is just a custodian (a receiver) of the money.
If you pass away with loans, unpaid taxes or family disputes, creditors and relatives can go to court and attach that insurance payout.
2. Married Women’s Property (MWP) Act, 1874.
When you buy a policy under the MWP Act, the law automatically converts your insurance policy into an irrevocable legal trust completely free with zero trust deed paperwork.
The moment it is issued, the policy legally leaves your estate. You don't own the payout anymore. The Trust does.
The Rich pay lawyers lakhs to set up a Private Family Trust so banks can’t touch their wealth.
You can turn your life insurance into an untouchable Legal Trust for ₹0.
Even if you die with ₹10 cr in debt, Your wife and kids still get every single rupee.👇🏻
Gen Z will cry about how they can't afford to buy a house and then spend ₹21,000 a month on Blinkit just because for dopamine.
Quick commerce is a dopamine business.
They know you don't actually need a ₹700 snack at midnight. They know you are just impulsive, bored and have zero friction on your UPI app.
If you make ₹50k and blow ₹21k (700₹ everyday on an avg) on Zomato, Blinkit etc You are a victim of your own complete lack of impulse control. You will blame inflation or a broken system.
This 21k per month can pay for an emi.
You are literally eating your own seed capital because you can't tolerate 15 minutes of boredom.
I met a Gujarati founder in Dubai worth ₹100 crores. Nothing is in his name. Nothing is in his family's name
He controls every decision and pays 0% tax.
This is legal, public and only 1% Indian knows it exists.
8. Every business family avoids one question: What happens the day the founder dies?
Kids will look after it is not a plan.
Everyone has watched one strong company become three weak ones within 18 months of a funeral.
