AI has already read most of the public internet, so the next training data has to come from real people, with their consent.
The problem is that labs can't always prove where a file came from, and the people who shared it rarely get paid.
DATA's Trace gives every file a receipt, and now DATA is joining the Sui stack, with Walrus for storage and Seal for access rules. The existing network keeps running, and holders don't need to do anything.

DATA is coming to @SuiNetwork.
The DATA Network and Trace are joining the Sui stack, bringing a live supply of rights-cleared AI training data to infrastructure built for AI workloads.
With 250M+ receipts already recorded by Trace, AI labs will be able to source real-world data with verifiable provenance, while @WalrusProtocol provides the underlying storage layer.
Sui Foundation is investing $30 million in the DATA Network, establishing the largest institutional stake in the network, alongside the continuing holdings of PIP Labs and the DATA Foundation. Furthering the alignment, SY Lee, founder of the DATA Network and CEO of PIP Labs, joins Sui Foundation as Strategic Advisor.
In the coming months:
▸ The DATA Network will be upgraded to run as a protocol natively on Sui
▸ Walrus becomes the default storage layer for DATA Foundation apps
▸ $DATA remains the token of the DATA protocol

One detail in @QuipNetwork's compute marketplace deserves attention.
The first miner to submit a valid answer doesn't automatically win.
A competition window opens, giving other miners time to produce better solutions.
Job creators can also choose whether rewards go to the best result or are shared among top performers.
That creates different incentives depending on the workload.
The question is how well these rules balance solution quality, execution speed, and miner participation as the network grows.

Nets vs Celtics was closer than I expected (124 - 125), and my leverage trade was liquidated due to market movement during the game.

spent my coffee on the B2B part of the Gotchi Labs whitepaper this morning, the section almost nobody quotes...
5.1.3. if a coach, a meditation service or a wellness brand wants to sell inside the planned Sleepagotchi Market, they stake CHI as a Partner Listing Bond.
so sellers carry collateral, not only users.
and per 5.4, staked holders vote on marketplace standards and partner criteria. users write the rules, providers post the deposit. I kinda like that split.
what I'm watching: the required amount, lock duration and return conditions are all left to "applicable program terms".
the doc calls them "potentially returnable" bonds, and I couldn't find a single line on slashing.
a bond only protects users if something can actually happen to it.
question for @sleepagotchi: if a partner breaks the standards stakers voted on, can part of the bond be cut, and is that decided by a governance proposal or by the team?
