Great players will always come and go, Greater players will always show up, but no one can replicate/will replicate the legacy Cristiano Ronaldo left behind. This video says it all.

Since I was born, my mother has always said something that stuck with me, she was born in an old house and married into an old house. So, I said to myself, One day, my mother must experience what it feels like to live in a new house. And today, I’m proud to say that I made that dream a reality. I built this house for her. Congratulations, Mum, You deserve every bit of this happiness.

My first time reading this. From the comments you can tell a typical Nigerian wouldn't mind as long as the salary keeps dropping, but they forget that there's a difference between being paid and being valued. You lose your sense of professional identity and dignity.
Imagine showing up to work every day, but you have no tasks. No meetings, no emails, no responsibilities. Just a desk, a chair and time. This is what it means to be a "window sitter" ....a subtle but very real practice in many traditional Japanese workplaces. In Japan, companies rarely fire employees directly. Instead, they may quietly sideline someone, stripping them of purpose, isolating them from colleagues, and waiting for them to resign voluntarily. It's not labeled, it's not openly discussed, but it's understood. Foreign workers often find it confusing or even cruel, because there's no feedback, no confrontation, and no closure. Just silence. It is known as madogiwa-zoku (literally, “the tribe by the window”), this passive practice helps companies: Avoid legal risks, maintain harmony, preserve face But for the employee, it can feel like career exile, mentally and emotionally draining. If you're working in Japan and suddenly, you're given no assignments, you're removed from projects, you're left out of team communication You might not be imagining it, you may be getting windowed. Whether you plan to work abroad or not, this is a powerful reminder that: 1) Workplace culture is deeply tied to national values 2) Indirect tactics can hurt just as much as direct ones 3) knowing the unspoken rules could save your career Have you ever heard of window sitting? Would you endure it or take it as your cue to leave?

5 small habits that can completely change your life if you practise them consistently. You don’t always need a major breakthrough to improve your life. These are five habits worth developing: 1. Read for 20 minutes every day. That’s more than 120 hours of reading in a year. Imagine how much knowledge you could acquire with that time. 2. Save something every week. Even if you start with ₦2,000. The amount can increase as your income improves. What matters is developing the habit of setting money aside. 3. Learn something valuable for 30 minutes daily. A professional skill, a business concept, communication, technology or financial literacy. Small learning sessions can build valuable knowledge over time. 4. Exercise for at least 15–20 minutes. Walk, stretch, run or do simple exercises at home. Your health deserves regular attention. 5. Review your goals every Sunday. Ask yourself, What did I accomplish this week? What did I postpone? What needs improvement? What are my priorities for next week? This helps you become more intentional about how you spend your time. Think about it....20 minutes of reading daily. 30 minutes of learning daily. 15 minutes of exercise daily. These are small commitments, but they add up. Don’t underestimate what a year of intentional habits can do. Save this list and start with one habit today.

Your peace of mind is worth protecting. Not every argument deserves your participation. Not every criticism requires an immediate response. Sometimes maturity means knowing when to speak, when to listen and when to walk away respectfully. ❤️
