Moosa wasn't the first ex-SSG commando to get disowned. Many like him were disowned during and after the Kargil War. One such officer was Captain Muhammad Ammar Hussain, who served in the 63rd Frontier Force Regiment and 1st Commando Battalion (SSG). He is now buried inside Indian territory. Ironically, he was given a gallantry award, but his body was disowned.
