I would really go with the second one because he knows the world is changing, and he is doing the smart work. If you are saying both are delivering an identical quality, that means the one who is using AI also knows roughly how to code manually. I think I will go with candidate B, as you can see he is changing with time, and I think that change is the biggest factor for growth.
