METEOR SHOWER COMING TO A THEATRE NEAR YOU. Check out the ORIONIDS METEOR SHOWER tonight and Thursday night, visible in the late night sky. You'll want to look away from the moon, towards the constellation, Orion. The best time to look is after midnight. Great wx, great vis.

#Southern will face their former starting QB Cam'Ron McCoy this weekend at Texas Southern.

Space Jellyfish Early Tuesday?
The Bandwagon-5 mission from SpaceX originally scheduled for Monday morning is now slated for early Tuesday. Projections indicate that a 'space jellyfish' MIGHT be visible as far west as SE Louisiana and SW Mississippi, but confidence is low.
If you're up early on Tuesday, look low on the horizon to the ESE just after 5:30 AM. Any obstructions such as trees or buildings will likely make it very difficult to see the launch.
On the flip side, Grand Isle was right on the edge of projected viewing locations with a launch a week ago, and yet the picture you see on this graphic was captured there. Projections for Tuesday's launch show *possible* viewing even farther west, but with it being so low on the horizon, the outlook is 'iffy' at best. The launch trajectory is a bit different this time too, taking the rocket east, or away from our area after launch.
