It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve the people of Northwest Tarrant County. Thank you for placing your trust in me over the last four years.
Together, we built a world-class team that modernized our transportation infrastructure, made historic investments in law enforcement and public safety, and positioned Precinct 4 for long-term success.

It is so surreal to have a Dem gov and House.
What does this mean? Dem control, even partial (without the lege), has been a dream upon which I can cast my ideals since they have developed.
The margin of victory is abstract and meaningless, beyond its ability to inform the winner/incumbent on re-election.
Voters who delivered such an outcome do not value the margin their vote produces. It of meaning to a very small portion of the population.
Matt is lying about the dynamic between @RepLloydDoggett and @GregCasar.
Each of their seats were carved up for a failed gerrymander effort, and Doggett, having been in office for years and achieving significant results for his district, passed the torch to Casar.
Trump would have screwed every dominant state GOP if they followed through on his demands.
