Advocacy in action means veterans have a seat at the table.
Last week in Topeka, Kansas, @WWP brought veterans and stakeholders together for a warrior policy roundtable focused on issues affecting the veteran community. These conversations help ensure veterans' voices are heard by leaders who help drive change.
Thank you to staff from the offices of @JerryMoran and @DerekSchmidtKS for participating in this important discussion. We also appreciate Warrior Advocate Leader Brent Whitten for sharing his perspective and helping lead the conversation.
A new analysis projects an 8.2% decline in veteran homelessness in 2026.
These findings are encouraging. While the full picture is still emerging and year-to- year differences should be kept in mind, the results point to meaningful progress in helping veterans access stable housing and supportive services.
More work remains to ensure every veteran has a safe, stable place to call home.
