You can feel that lack of restraint in the pure honesty in the album. No song feels off, each track is a piece of Wale’s mind. It’s extremely cohesive despite playing with different genres, a rare feat in today’s music typically made for playlisting and TikTok instead of aiming for classic albums, which one could argue this project is.
