Glad to be a backer of the illuminated prayer book.
Tell me who’s that writing? John the Revelator.

Today’s the day to acquire KitKats and ostensibly pass them out to kids. (I’m going to eat them all)
Auspicious lineup of All Saints Day this year.
“Be sober and watch: because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, goeth about seeking whom he may devour.”

Last year I started studying Japanese so I could read Mishima in his native language.
Absurdly difficult. I memorialized hiragana but katakana proved to be too difficult. Does anyone have tips?
Thank you 🙏🏻

I was born to a pagan and an atheist, and I’ll die a Catholic God willing.
I was born a secular humanist, raised a secular humanist, baptized a Protestant as a teenager, practicing Presbyterian for years….
In my 40s I researched why the Catholic Church believed in Transubstantiation, was convinced by the Scriptural support, it was the first stone to fall.
Then the rest came crumbling down, sola scriptura was the fastest and easiest to debunk.
Now a Catholic for 3 years, my wife converted, and so far 3 family friends have followed into the Church from Protestantism.
I always get the gumption to get up and do something before I remember I’m due for back surgery soon lol
