@uppc_uganda today joined @ntvuganda in celebrating its 20th Anniversary through a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in Entebbe, highlighted by the donation of 200 Mama Kits to expectant mothers at Entebbe Grade B Hospital. The contribution highlights UPPC’s commitment to giving back to the communities it serves and supporting initiatives that improve lives. By providing essential maternal care supplies, the Corporation is extending its impact beyond its core printing and publishing mandate to champion maternal wellbeing and social development. The activities also included a community clean-up at Kitoro Market and a blood donation drive, reinforcing the shared responsibility of building healthier and cleaner communities. For @uppc_uganda, making a difference goes beyond the products and services we deliver. It is about touching lives, supporting communities and contributing to a better quality of life for all. Congratulations to @ntvuganda on 20 years of impact! #NTVAt20 #NTVinEntebbe

DID YOU KNOW? Public Relations didn't begin with press releases, media interviews, or trending hashtags. It began with a deeper question: What makes people think, feel, and act the way they do? #AdvancingPRExcellence

𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐂 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐔𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 The Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC), the official Government Printer, has made the E-Gazette freely accessible online, removing cost barriers and making official government publications easier to access. The Uganda Gazette contains statutory instruments, legal notices, government appointments, registrations and other official communications relied upon by citizens, businesses, legal practitioners, researchers and public institutions. UPPC Managing Director, Prof. Sudi Nangoli, said the initiative strengthens transparency, accountability and public access to official government information. The move forms part of UPPC’s 2023–2028 Strategic Plan, which targets digitisation of 80% of the Corporation’s products and systems by 2028. The Corporation has also been digitising historical editions of the Uganda Gazette dating back to 1902. Members of the public can access the free E-Gazette through the Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation’s official website by navigating to the Uganda Gazette/E-Gazette section and selecting their preferred edition. The initiative marks another step in Government’s efforts to expand digital access to public information and improve service delivery. @uppc_uganda

@uppc_uganda, through the Public & Corporate Affairs Department, joined public relations practitioners and other stakeholders in Jinja City for the @PRAU_Uganda Golden Jubilee Conference, held from 20–23 October 2026 under the theme “Celebrating 50 Years of Professional Excellence: Shaping the Future of Public Relations.” The conference explored the evolving role of PR in institutional leadership, reputation management, crisis communication, digital transformation and stakeholder engagement. Sessions on AI in communication, ethical practice, sustainability and integrated marketing communications highlighted emerging approaches to building public trust and delivering measurable organisational value. The insights provided an opportunity for UPPC to learn how to continually refine its communication approaches, deepen stakeholder relationships and leverage digital platforms to reach wider audiences. As the Corporation advances its transformation agenda, strategic communication remains central to demonstrating its value, building confidence in its services and reinforcing its contribution to national development. Congratulations, @PRAU_Uganda, on 50 years of professional excellence and advancing the public relations profession in Uganda. #PRAUAt50 #AdvancingPRExcellence

Today, @uppc_uganda partnered with the Youth Go-Green Initiative and other partners at the 3rd CEO’s Breakfast Meeting and High-Level Dialogue on Green Economy, Sustainability and the SDGs, held at @UNICEF Headquarters under the theme “Accelerating Uganda’s Green Economy Transition through Digital Transformation.” Representing UPPC, the Director Business Development @NyakairuR highlighted the Corporation’s progress towards digitising 80% of its products and services by 2028, having achieved 60% so far. Through platforms such as the E-@UgandaGazette, UPPC Service Portal and digital publishing initiatives, the Corporation is expanding access to official government information while supporting more efficient, less paper-dependent service delivery. The engagement provided a platform for @uppc_uganda to showcase its digital transformation journey, strengthen partnerships and explore opportunities to promote responsible and sustainable production, resource efficiency and environmental conservation within the printing and publishing industry. @UCC_Official @RailwaysUganda @nextmediaug @UN

APPRECIATION Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) NIRA appreciates @uppc_uganda for its participation and support during the #MyIdentityExpoAndSymposium26. As Uganda’s government printing and publishing institution, UPPC plays an important role in supporting Government’s communication and documentation needs through the production and publication of official government materials and documents. Its participation at the Expo provided an opportunity to highlight the important role of trusted government documentation in public administration and service delivery. We value UPPC’s partnership and contribution to the broader conversation on building reliable systems for identification, documentation and access to government services. 📷 @uppc_uganda
