The Islam Makhachev situation truly highlights how disgustingly bigoted & hateful the MMA fanbase really is We get it, you hate Muslim Dagestani champions & only want white/American/UK Christian champions Sean Strickland is openly refusing to fight contenders & hasn’t fought in 6 months Justin Gaethje hasn’t fought since June, has no plans to fight until AT LEAST February & still hasn’t decided whether he’s retiring or not Both the lightweight & middleweight divisions have legitimate, clear-cut #1 contenders, yet we see ZERO outrage or accusations of ducking????? Yet Islam is somehow “ducking” the guy who got schooled by Garry on short notice??? Prates & Morales have fought a COMBINED ONE TIME in the last year I want to see EVERY champion be more active, including Islam, but the blatant double standard from the racist MMA fanbase is absolutely infuriating The selective outrage is fucking ridiculous
