That was the plan. BUT once the UFC commentators, ex-fighters, Joe Rogan and the MMA community started pushing the narrative that Prates is the easier matchup for Islam while Morales is the real threat, the champ said, “Fuck it. Let them fight each other. I’ll fight the winner.”
