The question around @Coredao_Org's announcement is:
- Why now?

Decentralization has been a founding principle of Core, and today marks another step in that commitment.
We've already seen it work. Independent validators have taken on block production, and the network has kept running without interruption throughout the handover.
Now that same model is extending across the ecosystem. As part of that evolution, I'm transitioning out of my role in the DAO, and the community will continue taking on more of Core's development.
The validators, builders, partners, and Coretoshis who power Core are already leading the way. I'm grateful to everyone I've had the chance to build alongside.
I'll always be a Coretoshi, and I'm excited to see Core continue growing as a network built to scale Bitcoin and carry its decentralized ideals forward.
Core is entering its next phase of decentralization.
Since the DAO began handing over its block-production role to independent validators, the network has run with zero downtime throughout the transition.
Decentralization has guided Core since its first block. Each handoff of DAO initiatives to independent community operators builds on that foundation.
Now, the community will continue taking on a greater share of stewardship across Core, from ecosystem building and growth initiatives to the decisions that shape its direction. As part of this transition, initial contributors like Rich Rines and Brendon Sedo are stepping out of their roles in the DAO.
A network owned and led by its community is built to last. In the months ahead, more independent operators, more community-led projects, and more Coretoshi voices will shape where Core goes next.
Thank you to every validator, builder, and Coretoshi continuing to carry Core forward. Bitcoin's full potential remains untapped. Core will keep pushing that frontier forward, in service of decentralization, self-sovereignty, and freedom.

Earlier this year @Coredao_Org posted as roadmap
“The year of the Buyback”
Its two months left and nothing yet
In this life we should avoid saying things we can’t do it only brings down our reputation

Core DAO lets bitcoin holders stake without giving up custody, and dual staking pairs BTC with $CORE for higher rewards.
SatPay, the @Coredao_Org neobank, opened beta in March, letting users borrow stablecoins against yielding BTC to fund a debit card.

Decentralized 💪
Core is taking another step towards decentralization.
Since 2023, DAO-operated validators have helped keep blocks flowing as independent operators joined and strengthened the network. Together, these validators have supported years of uninterrupted block production.
Over the coming months, the DAO will fulfill its long-term plan and begin the process of gradually handing over its remaining block-production role to independent validators, building on the work these operators already do to keep Core running.
This transition marks a new chapter for Core, with independent operators powering the network.
Thank you to every validator and Coretoshi who has helped move Core forward.

They somehow treat @Coredao_Org as equivalent to @richrines, believing Rich should be blamed whenever people's collective sentiment toward $CORE changes 😀
Bro simply crafted something revolutionary, yet impatient and ungrateful people are too obsessed with expectations...🧵
I see people tagging Rich Rines every day.
What do you want him to do for you?
He has already created staking for you.
- You stake CORE → earn rewards
- You stake BTC → earn CORE
- You stake and chill → you get paid
Rich built the system.
Your job is simple: BUY, STAKE, WAIT.
Stop tagging him for price.
Start staking. 🧡

Next chapter of $CORE won't be won on price charts.
It will be won on demand.
Staking up+TVL up+Volume up+Users up+More BTC locked=price has no choice but to follow.
Market can ignore hype. It can't ignore demand forever.
Stay positioned Coretoshis.

Another $CORE purchase today.
The principle is simple: either I win, or I learn, but I never lose.
I'm aiming for the long term with
@Coredao_Org and I know something beautiful awaits us.🥂

Ever heard about the recent issue on Core?
Here’s what actually happened, what Core did about it, and why your funds are safe.
I broke it down in few mins. 👇

Just to correct you from spreading false information, Core is not delisted on exchanges.
In relation to this recent announcement(xitter.cf/coredao_org/status/209…), the team requested exchanges to temporarily halt Core activities as part of mitigation measures on the issue . Post mortem report to discuss all things will be posted once done.
Check this screenshot of announcement from MEXC as example. 😊
The community is discussing this thing already earlier today in Discord community, feel free to drop by so you stay informed.
Core Network — Status Update
We're aware of an issue causing a small number of validators to accrue block rewards above the protocol's intended issuance.
The root cause is identified and mitigations are in progress. User assets are safe. This affects reward issuance only, not the network's security or the custody of any funds.
Full post-mortem to follow once contained.

They’ll call it luck tomorrow. They’ll ignore how many times I chose @Coredao_Org when nothing made sense.
Most people don’t fail in crypto because they’re wrong, they fail because they quit right before the lesson finishes burning in.
I’ve been here long enough to know this pain intimately. Late nights staring at charts that mocked my conviction. Ideas I believed in that went nowhere. Moments where silence was louder than FUD.
Back then, I thought the people who made it were just lucky. Turns out, luck only visits those who stay long enough to be recognized.
Even at some point, I thought I was “getting lucky.” But luck never showed up on the days I quit. It only appeared when I kept going. Tired, confused, doubting myself, but still learning.
Crypto taught me this the hard way:
Nothing compounds faster than persistence. Nothing exposes pretenders faster than time. And nothing looks like “luck” from the outside more than discipline on the inside.
Because every loss sharpened my thinking. Every mistake stripped ego and replaced it with clarity. Every cycle taught me something Twitter can’t explain.
People say, “You’re lucky to still be here.” No. I just didn’t leave when it hurt.
So if you’re waiting for luck to save you. What if luck is waiting for you to become someone worth finding?
Why does this truth make so many people uncomfortable? #CoreDAO
