Today is my last working day at @digitalocean. 2 years full of fun, a lot of shipping, upskilling and collaboration! DigitalOcean was my first in-office job, something whose thought I dreaded, was made easy because of the people I met, who have now become my friends. They turned this unknown city to a place I can call home. I met the best mentors here and got to work with some of the smartest minds in the industry. People who were ready to teach me, guide me and help me be more confident. There’s too many people to tag and say thank you to, so I will skip that here (but I hope you got my goodbye email already). For the last 2 years, I was involved in multiple product launches. Launching OpenClaw single click droplet was one of my favourite launches this year. Other than that, I have built multiple demoes (the last one went live yesterday), played a LOT with GPUs, inference and was hands-on with all the AI terms you see around today. Also made multiple deeply technical videos and articles. Lastly, I also had an opportunity to host Hacktoberfest (which was a full circle moment). What I carry with me are the learnings, the people and the fun times I had it. Until next time. Once a shark, always a shark 🩵

I have lived in Thailand for almost a decade; over time in Asia, you will discover a few things that might make you want to go back home: 1. No sidewalks - it's a serious thing 2. No culture - the things that you see mostly in Asia are temples; there is no amazing architecture, just sometimes big buildings like in Bangkok. overtime it's starting to get harder, you feel there is nothing to do. 3. Harder to make long-term friends 4. No family/home friends 5. Locals are usually amazing people, very nice, never steal, talk to you with respect, but you never really make friends with them. Everything else you say about money and safety, I absolutely agree. I can leave my computer in Starbucks, go to the toilet for an hour, return, and nobody will touch it. It might look minor to you for now, but you will feel it over time.
