This $tnr.v spat is most humorous. It appears the company has forgotten that the shareholders are the owners, they serve the shareholders. Management seem to mistakenly think it's "their" company. And that's dead wrong, the company belongs to the owners.

While we continue to ramp up the drilling at Pampa Medina - we have 7 rigs onsite now - we are also pushing forward multiple work streams on the MOD in parallel. Great to have several potential lender groups on site this week as they complete their technical DD. $mari.to

Normal person: How can you invest in a Congolese tin mine? Junior mining investor: I’m doing risk management. It’s not like I own uranium assets in Niger.

A coup attempt is underway in Niger as mutinous troops from regional bases converged on Niamey overnight, targeting the presidential palace, state broadcaster, and international airport. Government forces repelled the attack on the presidential palace, but clashes continue around Air Base 101.

So the koala been preoccupied with existing positions & Beaver Creek but one thought keep coming back to on Anglo Teck $AAL.L $TECK Why not just do a QB2 - Collahuasi joint venture? If an Anglo shareholder...got to be asking that question Because, koala view, the only reason stocks traded up post announcement is $1.4 billion of QB2-Collahuasi EBITDA synergies capitalized at ~7-8x Gary at Glencore $GLEN.L has to be licking his chops as a commodities trader 1/n

How in the world did the Anglo American $AAL.L board with a straight face knock back GBP 34 / share in mostly stock when they were trading 27-28 with effectively the POTENTIAL QB2-Collahuasi JV synergies priced into the stock already? $BHP begging Elliott to have sharp elbows

$GLEN Ok so finally mgmt have done the sensible thing and is seeking a proper listing outside of LSE. US would have been better but ASX also good. Trading + copper means profits are absolutely exploding.

Taruga Minerals (ASX: TAR) has confirmed Weioko gold is free-milling. Preliminary metallurgical testwork on near-surface oxide mineralisation returned 96.3% gold extraction from a high-grade composite grading 14.15 g/t Au, and 92.6% gold extraction from a low-grade composite at 0.59 g/t Au. Silver extraction ran between 87.4% and 92.2%.  The high-grade composite included rock chip sample 702013, which assayed 99.45 g/t Au. Coarse, concentrated gold is usually where a free-milling assumption starts to break down. That points to a conventional gravity plus cyanidation flowsheet, and it lands ahead of the maiden 1,000m diamond program at Weioko, the first drilling on the deposit since 2009. Read the full announcement on Taruga's website: f.mtr.cool/icwnrtwegl #ASX #TAR #Gold #PNG

Challenge remains that majors remain afraid to be building projects. If that changes, SURG will go fast.

Replying to @FjordPhil
Clear from reading the 43-101 that this is a viable project. The market (rightly) looks at the capex and the market cap of the stonk, and sees something with no viable development path. Corporate action solves this and the market should rightly be skeptical until progress there

FIFA saying the ball sensor didn't detect hitting the camera wire really just causes problems for them Because you can see it hit something and move, so how can we trust the sensor And where's Croatia in all of this

Oh so the magic sensor suddenly didn’t work this time? Huh. Funny how that happened this time.
Before England’s goal in minute 45+2 against Norway, the sensor in the Connected Ball showed no peak in the 'heartbeat of the ball' when in the air, and therefore no evidence that the ball touched the overhead wire and changed the movement of the ball.
