Even though I generate my most successful posts by bullposting $COIN, I truly think there needs to be a fundamental change in management and attitude Lavishly spending money on seemingly unnecessary M&A (@DeribitOfficial, @echodotxyz) and always being late adopters and trend followers (perp, prediction markets, memecoins) is obviously not successful.

Sharing my answer to @CoinbaseDuck here. This kind of sucking up to management brought us here: nitter.gq/yield_guy/status/21173…
Constantly bull posting $COIN doesn't make it any better. I'll go through it: "us perp is coming, this is fought hard by Coinbase legal and compliance team working with regulators." -> expensive legal work (similar to CLARITY) doesn't mean it pays off "base got faster and refocused back into being a wallet infastructure provider instead of pushing for creator coin not even the creators themselves believe in." -> base still got @jessepollak stain on it. Nothing to justify him going havoc on it "deribit was an amazing acquisition, now Coinbase owns that derivative liquidity game." -> they paid $3bn for it; it was NOT an amazing acquisition. besides, no one in crypto uses derivative "echo is new, ipo and ICO will be the norm, it’s too early to judge" -> echo is NOT new lmao. What are you even talking about "everything exchange thesis has been playing out nicely." -> won't even go into the everything exchange thesis; you can't buy yourself into it

Bill Ackman says that X is the best source of news and financial information in the world, and the one that he spends the most time on Reminder that this is a billionaire investor with every paid news resource available to him if he wishes for it. "People who are on X vs. people who rely on conventional media, you generally feel like you are a week to two weeks ahead."

Spotify paid $100mn for 3.5 years of Joe Rogan. $COIN paid $25mn for 8 podcast episodes. As a crypto native they promised but never delivered. $25mn: Zero episodes. Imagine getting led on like this @brian_armstrong
What happened to @echodotxyz, @brian_armstrong? As a shareholder I am quite concerned Coinbase can spend $375mn without utilizing the acquisition $COIN

Gonna add AI force majeure to every future obligation of mine
BREAKING: Private equity firms want "AI disruption" treated like an "act of God" in its credit docs. New buyout loans include force majeure-style language that lets borrowers delay the consequences of defaults they blame on AI.

"Just getting started" Last post of @echodotxyz after being acquired by $COIN
We started building Echo around 2 years ago in an attempt to try and change the market dynamics around crypto fundraising. Today, we're joining Coinbase, but the mission stays the same. We're gonna use the firepower of this behemoth to provide better opportunities to investors and better fundraising options to founders. Just getting started. Cheers. Cobie
