“We had to find a way and we did. Looking back, we were the luckiest people in the world; there was no choice but to be pioneers.” —Margaret Hamilton Rest in peace, Margaret. Your trailblazing work leading the development of the on-board flight software for the Apollo spacecraft will forever be remembered. 🫡

I like this article from @SciGuySpace , although it's not very promising for the future of LEO human spaceflight 🤔🚀
Answering some of the big questions about the future of a low-Earth economy that NASA has spent decades trying to establish. Is it all going poof? arstechnica.com/space/2026/0…

Neue SpaceX/Starship Doku. Der Hammer, diese Bilder 👍. Jede neue Doku übertrifft die vorherige. Viele Details zur Ship 40 Landung/Bergung und dem Hitzeschild 💪🚀
A fully and rapidly reusable rocket will fundamentally change how humanity accesses outer space. “The Holy Grail of Rocketry” continues the ongoing Starship series with a look back at the scrappy days of SpaceX engineers proving reuse was possible and takes you onboard a high-seas race to recover a floating Starship

We made history. On just our second flight, we became the first commercial space company from Europe to deliver satellites into orbit. Mission 'Onward and Upward' successfully lifted off and deployed payloads into orbit. A new chapter for European spaceflight. More: isaraerospace.com/press/hist…

Isar Aerospace's Spectrum rocket has achieved an estimated 500km x 180km orbit, the company says. Spectrum becomes the first German rocket to reach orbit. Looks like the Stage 2 onboard engine cam captured a view of some aurorae following launch from Andøya, Norway.

Spotted: Falcon 9 impact site NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has captured images of a new crater on the Moon. The crater formed on Aug. 5, 2026, when a SpaceX Falcon 9 upper stage impacted the lunar surface. go.nasa.gov/4zw1I1g

The @SpaceX recovery team is 1/1. While the mariners and engineers offshore literally ride the wave, a hard charging group of leaders, operators, meteorologists, engineers and supply chain work 24/7 to feed them the data and support they need to continue the mission. Deadliest catch meets Apollo 13 content coming soon 🚀 🎣 The team, the team, the team!!!!
