Colonial respectability produces this brand of elitism. Brought to you by the same channel that teaches girls how to walk by balancing books on their heads, that requires high school students to eat kenkey with a fork & knife. We are living in a stasis of colonial hangover.
So much of what is taught as etiquette is elitism.

Absolutely great idea! It is not like we pay taxes which are supposed to be used for these things. Looking at the current health system, running healthcare solely for profit is a wonderful idea too. So many people could afford it. Truly a genius!
Instead of investing in expensive apartments, Airbnbs, restaurants and salons all over Accra, why don’t you boys come together, take up one of the Agenda 111 hospital projects, and complete it? You could establish a government-private partnership, operate it for an agreed number of years, recover your investment with interest, and still leave behind something that benefits the country for generations.

The standard turn around for a paper bag of this quality in Accra/Ghana is at least 10 working days. With printmote.com you can get in half that time and with quality rest assured. We delivered 300pcs in less than 5 working days.

Proper Family Values Champion, you haven’t made even one posts about this Obuasi SHTS case o. Or because it’s not queer people, it doesn’t matter?
Dear NDC Ningo-Prampram delegates, 💚 Thank you. From the depths of my heart, thank you! Tomorrow, 16 elected positions were up for contest. You let 15 Executives go unopposed. That is a record. That is a statement. That is unity of purpose. We will not spend our energy fighting each other. We will stand shoulder to shoulder. And in 2028, we will deliver our biggest victory yet. I am blessed to represent you. I am honoured to serve you. I do not take this responsibility lightly. Tomorrow is not a contest. It is a family gathering. We are one: in mind, in spirit, in purpose. Once again, Ningo-Prampram stands out as a light set on a hill. 🕯️ Unless they kill God! 🦁💪🏾🇸🇩

So submission can be bought? Are we not tired? Everyday man man man. 🥱
“If a man wants a woman to submit, he should be willing to bear more financially. It is directly proportional. Learning how to communicate effectively is so important! I can think of so many ways to drive home this point without “I used”.
“I used Ken Ofori-Atta to empower our party”. NDC Youth Organiser aspirant Steven Nhyira Odarteifio (@nhyiraodat) tells @SammiWiafe on Eyewitness News how committed he has been to the party's cause, even while working with the former Finance Minister. #CitiFM #EyewitnessNews #CitiNewsroom #GhanaNews #NDC

To the media houses: stop reaching out to us as psychologists to come & discuss the traumatic impact of sexual abuse when you also platform people who spew vile, toxic, criminal nonsense unchecked It’s giving performative concern for children. Do better

Antithesis??
Under no circumstance should the Vice President of the Republic Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, be stripped of her fullness of person and authority and reduced to simply, “A WOMAN,” with expectations that she must be the first to jump before cameras on all conversations on women and girls. She must be respected in her fullness as a person and as Vice President. Any view that reduces her to simply a woman to jump to the media on all gender matters is the very antithesis of why she broke the glass ceiling.

Unfortunately, boarding schools are also safety for children who need an escape. Children are really going through it.
This is why boarding schools MUST be abolished. We need more day community schools across the nation. Ghanaian boarding schools and GES are in NO way equipped to be stewards of anybody's children.

Stop giving Gender minister appointments to women who cannot work! Reserve it for the ‘mad women’ who can raise hell. The so called ‘mother figures’ are failing us.

We’re not taking this seriously as a society but there’s a decline in the taste of Waakye all around the country. This is a state of emergency. 👍🏽

oh as someone working in the higher education industry this your tweet be someway paa
I’m sorry, but there’s really no point spending four years studying Animal Biology and Conservation Studies at UG, dissecting and drawing toads, clams, lizards, fish and scorpions for grades, only to graduate into an economy with barely any developed animal industry to absorb your knowledge. We don’t even have enough zoos or safaris. We also lack a well-developed zoo system, wildlife research infrastructure and commercial animal industry capable of translating these skills into meaningful career opportunities and financial independence at scale. At some point, we have to be honest with ourselves about the relationship between what we study, what our country has built and what the job market can actually offer. Go and buy a form from Central, Ashesi or UPSA and consider a programme with clearer career pathways and stronger economic prospects. I’m not saying these fields are useless. I’m saying that studying them for four years without the supporting infrastructure, industry and employment opportunities is a serious gamble. It also makes me wonder why these programmes are still being offered locally when there seems to be so little effort to build a fruitful industry around them. And honestly, I’m becoming just as frustrated by your frustration as you seem to be by your circumstances.
