Most brands have lost interest in X influencers, and you know why? Almost all X gigs are not given on merit, someone would rather give a gig to their catfish account or friend than to a deserving account. Most gig plugs also get accounts they can underpay and take their cut from, which all ends up leading to zero results. Sometimes the campaign ends without even appearing on the timeline, and then the plug will share a screenshot to the group showing how they trended number 1 on X. Because most clients have no idea how that works, they end up believing it, yet their posts were only on Nigerian Twitter.
