The timing on this is bizarre
They let Mike Locksley make changes to his staff - firing his DC - just 2 days ago. Now they decide to move on from him
Very curious what led to the decision now, as opposed to later on

The NFL has concluded that the process surrounding Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts being cleared to play in Week 5 with a superficial blood clot “was handled appropriately,” a league source tells @TheAthletic nytimes.com/athletic/7708077…

For the first time since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, an NFL division has gone two consecutive weeks with none of their teams posting a victory. The NFC East went 0-6-2 over the course of Week 5 and Week 6.
Which team wins division?
Giants — John Harbaugh’s team leads the division but the head coach is undecided on whether Jameis Winston or J.J. McCarthy is the starting QB after losing at home in Week 6 to the 1-4 Saints.
Eagles — The Eagles have a four-game losing streak, their longest under Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts is expected to miss the season. The Eagles are 6-12-1 under all other starting QBs since 2021.
Cowboys — The Cowboys are 9-13-1 under Brian Schottenheimer with Dak Prescott starting every game. They have worst run game since 1989 and one of NFL’s worst defenses.
Commanders: Dan Quinn is 18-21-1 as Commanders HC but 6-16-1 since 2025.
Jayden Daniels is winless in his last 8 starts (0-7-1); Commanders have not won with Daniels as the starter since Week 5, 2025
