Gary Chambers of Louisiana deserves accolades for the years of advocacy and organizing in the Black community to galvanize political power and turnout the vote. He has pointed out there should be a new Southern strategy with a call to action for the National Democratic Party. With 30-40% Black population in the Southern States these midterm elections was a demonstration of the work paying off. This is a legacy of the Civil Rights Movement. While Stacey Abrams deserves praise for the organizing that brought on this Blue wave in Georgia, @GaryChambersJr has been doing the same in Louisiana. With no resources from the National party, we were 2 points from winning the Senate seat, 2 seats in a runoff on December 12, and the attention of the nation, in spite of the Voting Rights Act being destroyed in Louisiana v. Callais. When evil people plot, good people plan. Gary Chambers reminds us to exercise our right of self determination. Vote 12/12
